Oh, that is just heartbreaking to see how frightened poor Harry is. Filch better watch out, because I don't think it would take much for Severus to go after him.
The Fidelity Draught sounds interesting, but I feel like something somehow, is not going to work out the way it should.
I can really feel for Severus here, torn between his duties as a parent and his duties as a professor and Head of House. It's hard sometimes, but of course Harry is his top priority. I'm glad Severus is so loving and protective of him. Harry really needs that now. I hope he will come to feel safe at Hogwarts.

OMG!! What a fantastic story!! This is definitely going on my favorites list!!
Umm... I'm sorry though, I just couldn't bring myself to read Whelp - there is a level of Harry Harm that I just can't get past, and the idea of Harry being treated like a DOG by those horrible Durleys pushed all my squick buttons!! I'm sure it's a really great story, and I hope I don't get too lost in this one because I didn't read it, but I just don't think I can!!
I'm like Harry though, I'm trusting Severus to keep him safe in this story, and since I love your other stories so much, I thought I'd take the chance, and it was soooo worth it!!

Awwwwwwwwwww! I didn't realize he'd been that badly affected by Filch's presence. Stupid git. I know he can't hardly get a job anywhere else, but for crying out loud, does he have to be so mean? I guess I'd be bitter too if I were him... But still...
I found it sweet that Sev took Harry with him to talk to his Snakes, and that Rose P. offered to baby sit sometime. Wait until she finds out what a horror that would be... Could you even imagine? Babysitting for SNAPE. Lol. I love it.

Author's Response: Yeah, can you imagine his list of instructions for what Harry can and can't do, and who to "call" in case of emergency, etc.? Oh, wait . . . I guess I'll kinda have to imagine that list. ;-) Thanks for the review!

It's a pleasure to see you continuing this fantastic story line!!! I love Severus as a protective parent. That teaser about the Parkinson girl counters the plot line about Filch nicely. I'm very glad you continue to share your work with us!
Poor Harry will never be able to stand being around Filch. Excellent chapter and hopefully more soon!
