Thanks so much for this second part to your story. I know it remains unfinished, but I’m grateful for the chapters that are here. This was a rich and packed opening chapter. I’m intrigued by Darnell - what a great character, and am also saddened that no one from Hogwarts has checked on Harry.

Thank you So Much for a beguiling story- made me grin at Harry's protest against Draco Malfoy-elegance. He would.
And Snape's 1960's upbringing wanting to evolve upwards, away from the wants of wartime rationing. Well spotted.
Britain was harshly rationed for a long time. Elizabeth David's cookbooks describe it.
To fellow-readers, there are more chapters in this saga over on ffnet under the same title.
I hope that it will eventually be completed, as Severus' hidden warmth and perfectionism, Harry's unfolding, and the other teachers' plotting (Yay!) against the icy cruelty of AD. (shivering) is wonderful to read again and again.

This was wonderful. I love how they care for each other in different ways and the idea that the Lily Guild has a name. Also the fact of how they maintain disguises and that Harry won't be alone. I wonder what his friends will think. There's so many wonderful twists it makes this story that much more a delight to read like how Severus had to remind Mercup to call his "Mister" and than "Professor" instead of "Master". I wonder what the story is behind that. I very much look forward to more chapters in the future, as will my twin when they get to the ending. I must admit I was a bit saddened by the idea I had the last uploaded chapter for the minute. You are a wonderful author and writer. Cheers and ta.
