First of all, I love how descriptive your writing is--especially in the scene with Harry and Petunia. Also, I like how you make the abuse Harry suffers quite believable and not as severe as some authors do. It's still awful, of course, and I Harry's condition makes my heart ache, but I appreciate you giving this story that realistic touch. Author's Response: Thank you so much, Jade. The neglect and emotional abuse in the original books is enough to disturb me deeply. In this story I needed the abuse to be a touch more severe to warrant the Hogwarts staff stepping in - but I don't like Dursely abuse that borders on assault and torture. The emotional consequences for Harry are bad enough as it is. Thanks for reviewing!
I wouldn't be surprised if that was Snapey all disguised. Then again I'm very bad at guessing future plot (I'm sort of like Trelawney in that respect XD) so I'll just leave it to you to spell it out XD Plus Harry is awesome. Sunburnt, tired and hungry, but still awesome. And I only like the fact that he's all of the above things because I know that once Snapey gets wind of it he's going to be like OMG WTF I KEEL YOU!!! to the Dursleys. Yeah. Btw, thank you soooo much for updated this story on ff.net.
