Oh, I hope that having this chapter uploaded to this site means that you are working on this wonderful story again. I must admit that in this chapter I especially liked Flitwick. He must be formidable in charms, but he is so often presented in a humorous light rather than as the marvel he would be with a wand. As always, I love your Harry and Severus.
Ooh, I just love when Snape thumbs his nose up at Dumbledore. But he is going to be in BIG trouble, as they other professors are, if Dumbledore ever finds out! Eeks!
It is so sweet that Harry is able to see another side of Snape. Can't wait for the next update! :)

Well developed, really keeps your interest. Thanks for your hard work
Oh, this was a fabulous chapter! The final scene was so very powerful and I loved it that the last words he heard from Sev were "Trust me."
Dumbledore just can't get it right, can he? Harry is different from Riddle and Severus and the Headmaster either doesn't realise or can't conceive of Harry still being willing to do what is right without being bound to Dumbledore by gratitude. I've always thought that Albus was a manipulative old *mumblety-mumble* and you did a great job of showing it as well as his major character flaw. I found it ironic that you showed that Albus wasn't omniscient and that he didn't consciously believe he was with the bit about the door chime but then you immediately afterwards showed us that despite that he really feels that he does know everything and that whatever he thinks is the right thing to do is the only thing to do. In some ways I think that Dumbledore (especially in your characterization here) is in many ways far worse than Voldemort. The Dark Lord is at least straightforward in his evil. It's visible so one can fight it. Albus however, hides his evil actions under the cloak of "the greater good"; something that hearkens back to what a number of people were doing in Nazi Germany--which isn't really surprising given that he was involved with JKR's Hitler-analogue Grindalwald and despite turning against him is still inculcated with that mindset. And what he's done to Poppy is entirely inexcusable. When that poor woman finds out that he's forced her to go against her Healer's Oath he'd better what out! I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that confrontation, wouldn't you?
I can understand Harry's feeling of betrayal but Sev didn't really have the time to warn him earlier as he must have been working on getting everything set up for the rescue plan. I am really looking forward to what you have happening next. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's going to be as good or better than what you've given us so far. Bravo!

Oh no!! Please don't send him back! Send him to Snape, anyone is better than those horrible people!
Whew, I've had a rough day, I've read the most amazing stories, but they are all well-written and emotionally draining. I really need the box of tissues! The best stories, I have found, alway move me in a powerful way. Like this one!

Oh, if I could give you a "20" for this beautiful, beautifully written chapter, I would.
