As for constructive criticism... As a writer myself, I find it is most helpful... But I can't think of anything offhand... All I can think of are questions that haven't been answered, and I have to assume that in time they will be... Who was the french guy in the beginning? Was that Snape? cuz that would be weird...
This story is extreamly wonderful to read. I sincerly appologise for not reveiwing sooner, I was held up, for you truly deserve reveiws after updating. I love this story, it is very well thought out, the plot is amazing, the characters are written so well, it's a bit excieting, sometimes funny and/or sweet, it's orriganal, creative, just plan wonderful. I'm very anxious about the next chapters to come, so excieting. PLEASE, please post the next chapter soon! It would truly make my day, you have no idea how happy it'd make me. This story is one of my absolute favorites!

Hope they tell Harry what they are planning or they will scar him for life against trusting adults. Will Sev tell Harry the truth that Dumbledore wanted him to stay at the Dursley's? Will Harry hate the headmaster for it? Are you going for blood-adoption with Sev done on the sly?
I'm so glad that you're continuing to post chapters of Evolution on this site. I love rereading each chapter and really basking in your wonderful writing style once again :)
I've said it before, but the level of abuse Harry has had to deal with is incredibly realistic. It's not really all about what was done to him, specifically, but rather how it was done to him. Vernon is cold. And he provided no ounce of comfort when he punished Harry, obviously. Not to mention, Harry was always punished unjustly for things he didn't do (like his thrashing from the first chapter over the cracked window). He has been so unloved, and his condition is just devastating, even though he may not have broken ribs or head trauma. If that makes sense...
Of course I always love the scenes where Severus and Harry are interacting. This chapter is no exception... Severus is so patient with Harry, yet you still manage to retain the essence of his character. That's difficult to do--speaking from experience ;)
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for continuing with this story, even though real life is kicking your butt. lol.
Your brilliancy as a writer inspires me.
Great story. I'm sure it cost Severus something to share his story with Harry. Neither seems too broken to be made whole by the other.
Well written with a good amount of detail such as Severus noticing Harry's "little boy smell". Can't wait for more.

This story is so beautiful. There is so much emotion that I could drown in it. The memories made me cry, they were so sad! Some were very sweet though, which made me happy. I LOVE Harry and Severus interaction, it's funny, sweet, emotional, just great. Im curious to how Draco will come into this, he's a prat, but if you keep him IC I won't mind him occasionaly ;) I wish you'd have Ron more though, I love that red-head, all the Weasleys actually. I REALLY hope you continue on with the other years, at least third year so there will be Lupin and Sirius, and that you update the next chapter really soon. Please?
