Oh, I love this story, simply love it. What a wonderful thing to imagine. You did it very well. I shall "favorite" this.

This is perfect, not too gushy, but showing the two of them had evolved (despite outward appearances) and made peace within themselves and with each other. It would have been a truly fitting epilogue to DH.

Hi, I'm here via a rec on the Snapedom Insane Journal asylum. This was a lovely story; it was satisfying to see Harry and Snape get the closure that they never received in canon. And Harry's character, awkward but sincere, really rings true to me.

You write, some powerful stuff. My chest is tight, my eyes are full, I stand in awe. If I could give a rating of 10+ I would not hesitate to do so.
Aww. I like that even though Harry does have some regrets, he also seems to be at peace. Excellent job.

I love it. Snape is very in-character, good job. I hate the way JKR just left it as a,'Ok he died. Time to move on.' kinda way. This should have been an extension to the book. I would be satisfied knowing things were settled. This will do for now. ;)
Excellent! I hated how JKR just killed Snape off. It felt like we were left... hanging in regards to him. All of us Snape lovers were like, "That's IT??" I think this story- though short- really helped end things for me. Thank you.

Makes my heart ache (though in a good way). This is definitely what was called for after DH -- Snape's serenity after death, the hard-won refinement of his soul visible at last, and a final and mutual understanding between him and Harry. Well done.
