Reviews For Emerald Eyes
Author's Response: If you check out the story summary up at the top, it says "Pre-POA" in the "takes place" section, but the incident with the exploding cauldron happened sometime in the fall of second year (Chamber of Secrets).
Anyway, great chapter as always. It seems like you just started this story a week or two ago and allready its five chapters away from ending. Any chance in a sequel? Love this story and I'm sure it will make the featured story list. Please update soon. Author's Response: Ah, there you are. I got a review notice in my email last night and couldn't find where it was posted. lol. Chapter 1. Found it. I'm sorry about the cliffhanger, but you know I'll post a new chapter soon ;) It DOES feel like I just started this story! It was way back in September (I think), but still...that kind of scares me to think about how quickly time flies. As for a sequel, I'm not really sure. Right now, I don't have an idea for one, and I'm not sure I want to write a fic that just drags and drags, but who knows...I may get a spark of inspiration :) Thanks so much for the review! Glad you enjoyed this one!
Very enjoyable to read. One of those stories that you can re-read several times without it getting at all stale. Author's Response: Thanks, Katie! I really didn't realize how 'off' this chapter was with the rest of my story until I went back and reread. It was a bit embarassing, actually. lol. I'm glad you think this one is better than the last. I kind of sat there like, uh...no, Harry wouldn't cry during this scene, and Snape would definitely be shocked at himself for his reaction to Harry's cheek. And I hadn't included that earlier. *rolls eyes at self* Anyway, I really appreciate your review of this chapter! Thank you!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! Yes, Harry keeping it all inside for a moment longer would have just created unbearable tension...lol. I couldn't do that the the readers...or myself.
This story was amazing hon! You captured the personality of both Harry and Snape perfectly as well as their mutual antagonism. Harry finds himself in an altogether new situation with Snape being completely justified while Harry is actually well and truly in the wrong. I like how Snape could not maintain his hate and rage after Harry broke down. Loved it! Tracy
ohhh, and i'm totally in awe of that coincidence with the look at me line. seriously. something about coincidences make me all grinny and philosophically and junk, so yeah...allow me to go off and meditate in some random corner about the meaning of life... |
