Reviews For Emerald Eyes
There! a chocolate frog for him :)
By the time Snape caught Harry, that boy was full to the point of overflowing with pent up emotional stress! Although he may not think so at the time, I'd say that being caught out and punished by Snape just might be the best thing that has happened to him all week. He has REALLY needed some way of letting out all that he has been carrying around with him. Now if he can begin to confide in Snape, he'll be that much more unburdened! Love this story hon! Tracy
I hope you will update it again soon, since I keep checking the site for Chapter 10 like a crackwhore lookin' for a score! I really enjoy how balanced and even-keeled your Snape is, I feel you've done a great job capturing that side of him. He is not an overly emotional person, and is very much in control of himself, which to me, makes him all the more powerful. I enjoyed Harry's breakdown also, (well, not for Harry's sake) and look forward to where you are going with this! Keep up the great work!!! Can't wait to read the next chapter! Author's Response: Thank you for the review! Chapter ten is up. You've described my Snape perfectly...that's just how I want him to come across. I'm happy to know you're enjoying the story so much!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm happy you're enjoying the story :)
Author's Response: Wow...you have? lol. That's awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it :) I'll try to have a new chapter up by the weekend. Hopefully you're not gone before then... :( Hotel Internet?? lol.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! I happen to love subtle comfort, so I'm glad the end of the chapter just seemed to work out :)
*chants to herself, "Update, update, update!"* Author's Response: Thanks! I've had the very last part of this chapter planned for quite some time. I know I stressed the poor kid out, but he had to be tense enough to have a bit of a breakdown...especially in front of Snape. lol. I'm really happy to hear that you're enjoying my story :)
I also love how unsure Snape was in dealing with Harry. I am glad to see that he didn't back down from punishing Harry, though. Harry needs consistency and Snape is pretty much the only one coming through on that. But, to see Snape so uncertain about something is priceless. I loved how patient he was at the end and how intuitive that it was more than just the spanking that had Harry so riled up. Definitely a smart guy. I'm kind of glad that the whole sneaking into the Slytherin common room idea is over. I knew it could only end in one way for poor Harry. Now, I just wish the boy would tell Snape about the voice he's hearing. Next chapter, right? Sorry for the rambling review, but I loved the chapter. Take care... Author's Response: Thanks for the incredibly lovely review ;) I love that you focused on the fact that the emotional tension is almost tangible in this chapter, because that's really what I was going for. There will be a conversation in the next chapter... Glad you enjoyed this chapter! |
