Yeah, okay please DO type quickly. I know I've reviewed this on ff.net already, but I couldn't resist reviewing again. First, let me say, you write Hermione and Ron extremely well. Their bantering is perfect, and I could just picture Ron with his sarcastic comments, WHILE he's eating. hehe. Also, you write Snape extremely well too. He is very in-character and at the same time, has that bit of fanfiction niceness to him. A lot of authors spend so much time trying to keep Snape IN-character that they forget that this is fanfiction. Characters don't have to be incharacter all the time. That'd be boring. So thanks for giving Snape just that bit of un-Snapeyness that makes me want to keep reading. I love your Harry. He's so...great. No other words to describe him. And every time you say something about his eyes, I can just see them, glittering back at me. Wow. You're great. I love the banner you have at the story heading. Did you do it? It's beautiful, and captures the story just right. So, this is probably the longest review I have ever written, and will ever write, so I'll be quiet now. But I'd just like to say, this is one of the best Harry/Snape stories I have ever read, and that you are one of the most talented writers I know. You really know how to make a girl's day. :) By the way, you pretty much have one of the coolest pennames ever on ff.net. Well, first of all, I'm working on the new chapter tonight, and that means that I'll probably have it up tomorrow or Friday. Usually when I begin writing, I can't stop until I'm finished with the chapter, which, let's be honest, isn't good for my health, but oh well. lol. Ron and Hermione are so fun to write. I try to really bring out Ron's sarcastic side that J.K.R wrote so well. One of my favorite quotes in the whole series is in PoA after the boggart scene when Ron says something like, "What's your biggest fear, Hermione? An assignment that only got a 9 out of 10?" I crack up everytime I read that, because it is SO along the lines of my own sarcastic humor. You're right about Snape. I do try to keep him in character, and, obviously, he's going to be slightly out of character since it's a mentoring story; however, I try to do in a Snape-ish way. It's actually impossible to keep Snape completely in character, because then what would be the point of writing a fanfic? OH! And SiriuslyMental made my banner for me! I've tried to figure out how to credit her for it, but I'm unable to type anything underneath the picture. She's amazing, isn't she? Thanks so much Elise for the fabulous review. I love the way he is stern and hardcore, but at the same time most concerned with the safety and well-being of Harry and the students, even if they aren't his Slytherins. Well done! Hope we don't have to wait TOO long for the next brilliant chapter :) Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really happy that you like my version of Snape, because I try to keep him in character as much as possible. I think that deep down, Severus really did care about more of his students than he let on, even though J.K.R. made it pretty clear that he wasn't a very good person. I just don't think he was given the chance. You should check out Malora's story 'Never Say Remember' for a good contrast between the Snape we know and the Snape that could have been. It's brilliant. Anyway, I promise I'll work quickly on the next chapter. All of these reviews are very encouraging and keep my fingers a-flyin' on the keyboard. lol. Thanks again for the kind review :)
I have to work a little backward this time and say I cannot *wait* to read about Draco and Harry's ... um, confrontation. You mentioned typing quick, please do :D. Those two are going to learn eventually I suppose but wow looks like it's going to be a while. The note during potions had me groaning at first. I had my eyes half closed hoping Snape wouldn't find out. You had me fooled I thought Harry had hidden it and then the hand slipped the note away and that was too cool. I found myself very proud of a certain potions professor. When you mentioned in the end notes "from Snape's perspective" do you mean the whole classroom scene, because that would be pretty neat. On a very differnt line the confession to Harry's friends was too cute. I felt for Harry having to admit what happened. With Ron's temper and loose tongue I wonder how long before he tries to tell Snape off. Thank you for the new chapter. Author's Response: Hi! And I'm so sorry you had a bad day yesterday :( I sort of had a blah kind of day yesterday too. But I'm really, really glad that reading this story cheered you up. You have no idea how much that means to me. The confrontation was something I wanted to keep vague on purpose, since I want to keep this story in only Harry's and Snape's perspective. However, what went down during that heart-to-heart moment will certainly be implied in the next chapter. And by Snape's perspective, I just mean that I'll begin the chapter in Snape's point-of-view, in regard to the discussion with Dumbledore. Writing interaction within the trio is quite fun actually. I also know that the whole "Ron-is-mad-and-bitter" thing has been done a hundred times, and frankly, I can't stand it. lol. So I decided to put a different twist on it. Again, I'm so glad you liked this chapter. Thank YOU for your review! As for typing quickly, I am going to begin working on a new chapter of my other story first and then I'll start on the next chapter of this one. It's all planned out. I just wish the words would jump from my brain to the computer screen. hahaha.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for leaving me a review at both places! :) I always like to throw some good trio interaction in there. I'm glad you liked it. Malfoy is such a little slimeball. lol. For awhile I was a bit of a Draco fan, and then something just clicked, and I didn't really care for him much anymore. It was odd. As for the hallway scene between Snape and Draco, we won't exactly what was said but it will be implied in the next chapter. If that makes sense... True, I am back at work, with a lot of new students. For some reason, the school I work at is adamant about having the kids change teachers after the first semester...more like college, I suppose. But anyway, the kids are eerily quiet, and I sort of miss my louder, slightly crazy 6th period class from last semester. I guess this is where I sigh. :) Anyway, sorry for the rambling. I just appreciate your encouragment SO very much :) Thanks again.

Author's Response: lol...Your review made me smile. I'll update this one as soon as I can; I promise. Sometimes I feel as if I'm lacking a bit on the action part of stories, so I'm very glad you thought the end was action-filled :) And I really think Malfoy deserves a good butt-kicking, personally. Whatever Harry does in the next chapter will be significant, though. I promise. Thanks so much for the feedback!
