Reviews For Emerald Eyes
Well, my question on if Dumbledore was the one to destroy the diary was answered (I figured as much). Snape and Dumbledore's conversation was certainly interesting, and concerning. I had to smirk though near the end where Dumbledore mentioned having Lockhart dispose of the basilisk, ha! I'd love to see the git's face! Poor Harry, sulking in the infirmary. It was nice of Snape to get him out of there, and also to give him that book. Harry definitely appreciated the gift, it was a sweet moment. That was a very thoughtful and good idea to allow Harry to keep the portkey for access to Hogwarts, should he need it. I definitely feel happier knowing Harry has a means of escaping. Loved the end! Harry is such a cute kid! It always makes me smile when he grins like that. Snape seems so exasperated, hehe. I'm REALLY happy to hear you're thinking on making a sequel! I'd love to read it and will be keeping an eye out for one :). Author's Response: I tell you, it's awesome to hear that I answered your question with this chapter. That's something that I wanted to really do--keep everyone from falling into the hole of confusion. LOL. Oh, goodness, thanks so much for all of your reviews, Beth :) You've stuck with this story for so long, and I love ya for it!
Thank you for your story Author's Response: Thank you for recognizing that Snape has affected Harry in a way that will carry with him through the summer. :) In keeping this story canon-compliant, I felt that Snape would still respect Dumbledore's decision to keep Harry safe within the wards. Of course, if I write a sequel, things may very well change; however, I wanted this story to have a satisfying ending in case it ended up being a stand-alone story. I appreciate all of your reviews you've submitted for Emerald Eyes :) Thanks for reading my story, Keats!
Keep writing! (^_^)/ BEM Author's Response: I'm actually really glad to hear that you think it's all right as it is. Of course, I may decide to do a sequel, but if I can't get to it, I don't want to disappoint, you know? Here's a hug for the reassurance. *squeeze* LOL. Thanks for reading my story, BEM!
You did an awesome job! Author's Response: Thanks, Kathy! I've been neglecting my reading and reviewing duties and am just now getting back on track. Your story is queued up on my list ;) Congratulations on finishing your sequel, crazy-typin' woman! LOL.
Arh what am i going to do now, no more staring at my computer screen willing there to be updates, no more brilliant chapters to digest but the conciliary hint at a 'sequel' brightens my mood slightly. I hope you write more, it would be the proverbial icing on the cake, ohh the possibilities are endless, you could have any flavour that you want, pumpkin, gherkin...Maybe not. I hope you do continue to write and bring your - for they are yours now- characters back to life for us. Well congratulations again on a job done well, your Harry and Snape are wonderful, here's to their future(?- well i had to try!). :))) Cecilia Author's Response: Ah, Cecilia, you're quite the flatterer, I must say ;) Thank you for reviewing so many of my latest chapters of EE. It's been wonderful reading your thoughts, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it the whole way through. What I plan to do is finish my Sirius/Harry story over at ff.net, and then I'll possibly think about writing a sequel. I need to get a good plot worked out, and if I do, I'll be all set. ObsidianEmbrace and I are also going to try and co-author a story...if we can figure out how to do it...lol...but I'm used to writing two stories at once, so that project won't push EE2 out of the way--if there *is* such a thing... *wink* I appreciate your enthusiasm for this story. I miss little Harry already. *sniff* |
