Reviews For Emerald Eyes
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed this chapter. Thank you for the compliment :)
This was my favorite part: "That’s it, then?” Snape eyed him sardonically. “Were you expecting fireworks and a parade, Potter?”--It was so funny, I nearly choked. So perfectly Snape. And then when Snape asked Harry if he had disobeyed him and come looking for him, he was tender in a Snape sort of way, that only you could write so well. with the pads of his fingers there. Sigh. So sweet. And then Snape actually giving in to Harry and allowing him to make a choice for himself for a change. That he respects him as a person, instead of an irritant. I loved it. And it was such a jolt when they went back to Dumbles' office...like watching a movie camera, panning over the scene with the diary and the sword. Wow. Your descriptions are just so intense. Loved it! Though I really can't believe it's about to end. So sad. I really enjoy this story so much, so thanks for all your hard work on it! Author's Response: I was actually really nervous about writing the action in this chapter (but I already vented to you about that...lol). It's so stressful trying to get all the loose ends tied up! I actually have a couple more questions for you...more like asking for your advice about something. So be on the lookout for my annoying emails....LOL. ;) Thanks again for previewing and for leaving such great feedback. I know there'll be readers who expect more of a climax for this chapter, but as long as you approve, it makes me feel as if I've done something right. After all, life doesn't always work like that...
The interaction between Severus and Harry is wonderful at the end. Keep it up, dear! ~Myrrdin Author's Response: I'm so glad you're still reading and liking my story, Myrrdin! :) Yeah, the cliffhanger was bad. Sorry. *is shamefaced* But I do so hope you keep reading to find out what happens. Thanks so much for the great feedback! I plan on writing a little tonight and working hard on the last chapter tomorrow ;)
I thought it was funny when Harry told Snape not to yell at Myrtle, Snape was not amused, lol. That really sucked when Harry fell down the chamber, I bet Sev's heart was in his throat the moment Harry went disappearing into the darkness. Good thing Harry's knee is alright, otherwise that could cause quite a problem for them trying to move around in the chamber. I really liked that scene where Snape promises Harry he’ll return, it's so intense! Great job with that, it's my favorite part of this chapter. I can't wait until Snape enters that Chamber and find out what you have planned. The suspense is killing me! Author's Response: Sorry it's taken me a few days to respond. I'm here, And SO glad you were able to read this chapter ;) Yes, it took a while for the Chamber scene to arise, but all that build-up stuff was definitely necessary. Unfortunately, in real life, trust just doesn't develop overnight. And if Harry were to tackle the Chamber of Secrets right away, he would inevitably refuse to be helped by Snape. Now, he's actually obeying. Really glad you liked this chapter, Beth :) I'm writing some tonight and more tomorrow, so hopefully the next chapter will be posted mid-week. Thanks so much for the review!
Author's Response: I usually do ;) Thanks for reading!!
Author's Response: Well, thank you! It's awesome to hear that you're enjoying my story :) I appreciate your review!
Author's Response: LOL...I've been getting a lot of that lately. *sigh* I'll write quickly. I promise. ;) Thanks for the review!!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: The bonding has been slow-growing, but yes, you're right...this was definitely one of those chapters :) Thank you for the lovely review! I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
Snape going on his own to “battle” the Basilisk that is so cool…will be surprised if Harry stays put...all adventure struck boys will find some reason to move forward, and trouble always seem to find him LOL. Looking forward to next chapter Author's Response: Poor Harry...everyone expects him to mess up and run flailing down the Chamber...LOL. Of course, this *is* Harry we're talking about, so it's highly possible. Just know that if he gets into trouble, it won't be without purpose. ;) And yes, Snape does care for Harry even if he has an odd way of showing it. Summer vacation! *Cheers* I'm so excited! lol. I'll write some more to this story soon :) Thanks for the fantastic review! |
