Wow!!! Wow! I loved the chapter and I have to say that the last part of the chapter was just brilliant. The story so far has been brilliant and I hope to read more of this.

    *chants to herself, "Update, update,update!"*

Author's Response: Thanks!  I've had the very last part of this chapter planned for quite some time.  I know I stressed the poor kid out, but he had to be tense enough to have a bit of a breakdown...especially in front of Snape. lol.  I'm really happy to hear that you're enjoying my story :)

Wonderfully brilliant chapter, again. I just feel so sorry for Harry. The poor boy has no idea what to make of the way Snape is acting. I'd bet Snape truly doesn't know what to make of it either. I've known people before who are just impossible to figure out, to know where you stand with them. It is so frustrating, isn't it? Anyway, Harry's frustration is almost palpable in this chapter. Great job with that.

I also love how unsure Snape was in dealing with Harry. I am glad to see that he didn't back down from punishing Harry, though. Harry needs consistency and Snape is pretty much the only one coming through on that. But, to see Snape so uncertain about something is priceless. I loved how patient he was at the end and how intuitive that it was more than just the spanking that had Harry so riled up. Definitely a smart guy.

I'm kind of glad that the whole sneaking into the Slytherin common room idea is over. I knew it could only end in one way for poor Harry. Now, I just wish the boy would tell Snape about the voice he's hearing. Next chapter, right?

Sorry for the rambling review, but I loved the chapter. Take care...

    Author's Response:

Thanks for the incredibly lovely review ;)  I love that you focused on the fact that the emotional tension is almost tangible in this chapter, because that's really what I was going for.  There will be a conversation in the next chapter...

    Glad you enjoyed this chapter!

Thank you Jade, for another lovely chapter! I don't really have anything to add that wasn't already covered in someone else's review. I liked the whole chapter, from beginning to end. Poor Harry. He really needed the impetus to propel him into losing his composure and finding an emotional release. And poor Snape; clearly out of his element with whatever is bothering this boy. The little insight into Snape's private life was excellent as well. I am so looking forward to your next chapter. I hope real life doesn't get in your way too much this week. Mamaduck

    Author's Response:

Hi!  Thanks for reading and reviewing :)  I almost didn't add the small Snape-perspective section, but now I'm glad I kept it.  I tried to convey Snape's confusion and slight awkwardness during the very last scene.

And yes, to put it plainly, real life sucks.  lol.  I would much rather write than anything.  *sigh* Oh, well...

    Thanks again for the encouragement!

wow! I love this chapter I re-read like 5 times! your character's fit so perfectly, this is honestly one of the best fics I've read. I could feel my heart hammering when harrys cloak got caught xD and when harry had a "breakdown" during his punishment was definatley one of teh bets moments in this chap. I love your work it's so well written!

Author's Response: Thanks for the awesome review!  I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to read it five times over ;)

Excellent chapter. Absolutly, loved the ending. I hope he tells Snape whats up in the next chapter, but I have feeling he won't (at least not everything). *sigh* Anyway, excellent chapter and I can't wait for an update.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review!  I suppose it depends how you would define "everything" but I think you'll be satisfied with what goes down in Chapter...10...gosh, am I that far already?  lol.
