Reviews For Raindrops
Author's Response: I figured they weren't exactly similar, but I took a chance anyway. If you know of a reference site where I can research it, that would be helpful. Thanks for pointing it out anyway!
Overall it was good. Author's Response: Thanks! I couldn't resist adding in a scene where he enjoyes the Vamipre rumours. :)
Author's Response: I realize I did that and hopefully the sign is the same in BSL. :)
Scorpia Author's Response: Snape sunny? Hmm I cant see a yellow sunny Snape but maybe if it was a black sun, it would better suit his taste? :p
It's good that Harry and Cathy managed to get through the haircut business without a real problem. Harry was nervous of course, but he came through just fine. And we glimpsed Snape! Author's Response: Snape was (sadly) only glimpsed in this chapter and it's still a few more before he comes back. I kinda got carried away with Harry and his new family but he is most certainly in the later chapters a lot more. :)
Author's Response: He needed a male role model in his life and Nick is certainly up for the job! :)
I think it's really cool that you are making Catherine an Interpreter, but I hope you remember that they are in England and not the US, and so they would be using BSL (British Sign Language) and not ASL (American Sign Language) Thank you is the same in both languages, so you're safe there! :-D I'm glad to see someone interested in making a character an interpreter! Yay! Author's Response: I will have to double check and make sure I didn't put in ASL anywhere, becuase knowing me, I'd easily forget that it is BSL. I thought this might be an interesting idea since both of my grandparents were deaf and it seemed like a unique career choice for Cathy. Thank you for the review! |
