Again, I love how Severus is not all mushy but rather convey his love for Harry in a more subtle way. Loved that little scene with Snape and Harry though. :)
I love this story. Just thought I'd leave a review at this chapter. So far it is my favorite. Overall this story is well written, British English and all.

In the United States, punctuation is always put inside the quotation marks, so I can see why a reviewer might be a little confused. British spelling however, well duh… hello!!! :)
You have a nice story. I like it so far, especially your characterization of Snape. He's still 'Snape-ish,' but yet he's 'nice.'

Yet another comment from me. I saw that you're considering the name Asphodel. I like it. It seems like something Snape would do, though I don't think I'd want my name to be associated with the afterlife.
Author's Response: Asphodel Meadows? Hehe. I don't think I'd like it either, But I think Asphodel Eileen Snape has a certain ring to it! The question now is whether or not to make her inherit the Snape nose....

I was reading your response to a review about the awkward age gap and wanted to mention that my brother and I are seven years apart. We got along great, though that may have been due to personality. My brother is very easy going. Harry's a bit more strong-willed and intense, so I could see him not getting along with the baby, thinking that it's stupid and smelly.
Author's Response: my brother was the opposite, unfortunately. he was very upset when mummy and daddy brought a girl home from the hospital as he'd 'asked for a boy' lol.
