Harry friends and even considering him his brother? Sirius and Snape friends? MUST be an alternate universe.
It would be so nice for Harry to have a loving family, wouldn't it? Even if it IS Snape!
This chapter made everything from the last much clearer for me. I'm glad that you made Snape such a loving father.

I wasn't sure at first if you could make this new scenario believable, but I have been able to suspend disbelief. ;-) I assume this was written after HBP, since there was no break between Severus and Lily after 5th year. Given the background, I think Harry's life is accurately imagined.
