Oh heck. I hit the last finished chapter. I really have been enjoying your story so far and look forward to other updates. The camaraderie among the former Marauders and Severus is lovely. Sirius's loyalty comes off so well as do the Mays' appreciation for Severus' help with the pregnancy. I like your Severus, too. Having Harry has been good for him and all his new friends have mellowed him out quite a bit.
Nice chapter. I enjoyed the Christmas celebration. Rys was so much more confident in this one and I liked that so many more were at their Christmas this year.
I enjoyed reading about the gathering of allies and the Vow. You Rys did a fine job and certainly impressed Narcissa. She must feel much more confident having so many people vow to care for Draco.
Narcissa's appearance was a surprise. Lucius' behavior must really be scaring her for her to go to Sirius for help. It's an interesting turn of events and I look forward to finding out what everyone decides.
I enjoyed the scene of Severus and Rys playing in the puddles. It was good to have that light-hearted incident before going into the grim discussion about tearing apart souls.
That was a neat chapter. Since I read it during a major snowstorm, it felt like I was there with the characters. I liked the way you described, in detail, Rys Christmas. It's nice that Sirius has been accepted by Severus. He and now Remus will be valuable friends to Harry and Severus.
Well, well, a surprise witness. Good for Kingsley. Severus had better make sure he takes Rys to visit Miss Lucy. She sounds formidable.
Rys isn't going to want anything to do with Albus if Dumbledore doesn't stop talking about taking him from Severus. One would think Albus would have learned that lesson by now. I wonder if Severus will be able to get past his hatred for Sirius? Looking forward to finding out.
