Reviews For Harry and the Turn of the Tide
Great chapter, Teddy! I enjoyed reading about Harry's holiday at the beach, though it started off with a little scare. I have to say, though, that I think the adults were wrong to be so angry and to punish Harry. Harry is just a small child, barely four years old, and he acted like any child his age. There were at least 5 adults on the beach with him, and not one of them was responsible enough to be watching him? The fact that Harry got lost, and even could have drowned, was their fault, not his, at least in my opinion. (That's not a criticism of your story, I hope you understand, which is very well written and fun to read...it just made me kind of mad at the grown-ups, when I think they were the ones being irresponsible and then blaming their mistake on Harry). Anyway, I can't wait to go on to the next chapter and see what happens with werewolf Remus and little Harry! Author's Response: LOL - I think you're completely right! I'd have acted just like Harry - and I would never, ever sleep on the beach with my children unsupervised ;-) Thanks for reading and reviewing :-)
Author's Response: POLYJUICE POTION??? Where does that come from now? Did I miss something? Hmm... no polyjuice potion in my story so far... but the idea is not bad.... :-) I don't think Harry will be going to sleep 'all night' next to Remus LOL Thanks for reading and reviewing - I'm glad you liked the chapter :-)
Author's Response: No! Definitely not - Harry still needs him to play pranks on him *evilly grin* Thanks for reviewing - and most important for making my chapter readable :-)
Author's Response: Thanks - I'm glad you liked the chapter :-)
Author's Response: Thanks - I'm glad you like my stories - I'm not sure about leaving, I'm just considering it, but I thought it would only be fair to tell you in advance instead of just deleting everything.
I have one question regarding your author note; why do think you have few readers on this site. I myself prefer reading the stories on this site then fanfiction but they are your stories and you can do what you wish with them. Thank you anyway for allowing us to read your very enjoyable stories. Author's Response: Thanks for your review. I'm considering leaving the site because normally, I hardly get any reviews apart from my beta-readers, who kindly review because there aren't other reviews ;-). The cliffie here is quite harmless I think. Believe me - there will be worse! Remus has taken the Wolfsbane potion, of course - otherwise he woulnd't be in their quarters with Sirius in the next room. I'm not that evil although I like to anger Sirius as much as possible. Harry's reaction will be much less interesting than Remus' reaction I believe :-) |
