Ooo... I can see why Snape's voice is strangled sounding- Harry could be facing some serious toxicity issues.

Plus those plants he just trampled- what about the sap of those plants? Belladona, Foxglove and Nightshade are often associated with witchcraft, did Snape have those in his garden? What if they are mixed with the poison ivy sap now?

Darn, now you've got me googling poison ivy overdose. I've also gone to a yahoo group, Fanfic med, to ask them about poison ivy overdosage problems.

Oh, yeah, Snape could be in real deep doo-doo. Caring for a child suffering from toxicity issues, and he's hiding Harry's presence in his house from Dumbledore. Would Harry be recovered enough from the toxicity problems when school starts?

Not surprised about Harry playing in the mud, all boys like to get dirty. And destroying Snape's garden is the sort of petty revenge that some boys would engage in. Along with flinging mud at the windows. Very pre-teen boy behavior. I'm sure 11 year old Snape would have done the same.

Snape kidnapping Harry is also very petty. I'm sure that if Snape had asked Dumbles about Harry staying at Spinner's End I'm sure Dumbles would have said okay. In canon Dumbles was always trying to get Snape to see Harry as Harry (or at least as Lily's son) as much as he kept trying to get Harry to trust Snape. One wonders how things might have gone if the two had at least trusted each other. (They wouldn't have had to like each other.)

Should I also mention that Snape's vertiserum incident also very petty. Those two are pretty similiar sometimes. Not sure Harry and Snape would like to be compared.

    Eagerly anticipating the next chapter.

As soon as the Veritaserum appeared I wondered why I hadn't been expecting it. And now--poor Harry. He just can't win, can he? Severus is still seriously disturbed, but we are getting more of a hint that Harry is showing him himself and that he is doing some growing and changing.

Oh no! Poor Harry! He's just being a kid, a little rebellious and then he gets covered in poison ivy! Geez! I like the questioning part though, when Harry has to tell the truth and he doesnt want to and he almost cries, its realistic.

Well, it's kinda good to see Harry get comeuppance for this particular rebellion. Sorry, but he really does have to learn that he should think before he acts. You chose well, with the poison ivy!
Snape'll be pissed off--and rightly so--but he'll also HAVE to treat Harry's poison ivy pustules. They spread the poison wherever they break. Good thing Severus has magic to use! He won't have to touch him, or at least, as much!

With any luck, even this rebellious Harry will have to realize just how stupid he was, here!

ROFL Poor Harry, all covered in poison ivy. LOL That was great, and completely unexpected. Okay, I have to say that Snape really scared me in this chapter. He was psychotic. Brr...he's creepy. Very well done.

I've never been exactly sure what's going on in this story, which makes it thoroughly intriguing. I suspect that in the beginning it was a simple case of taking Harry to a safe place; now it has morphed into something different. Snape doesn't seem quite in control of himself, as if his reactions surprise even him. I don't know if Dumbledore actually knows Harry's location or not.

I wonder if that weed was actually poison ivy or Snape is having Harry on.

Okay, since Harry was carrying his "pay back" just a bit too far, the poison ivy part was great.

I am glad they had the talk but Severus needs to listen to more truth than he wants to hear. Harry was right about that.

This story is amazing, in a warped kind of way (and I mean that in the best sense). It's very different than most other Snape and Harry stories, which is probably what makes it so very interesting. Actually, I think this is the one story that I get really excited about when I see an update. Please don't keep us waiting too long!
