Wow. Incredible. i got a shiver as I read part of this. Amazing. I love Harry and his desperation to find attention, love and acceptance. I love how Snape doesn't know what to do with that - that he needs to give it or that Harry wants it, or even how to do it. Wonderful chapter. I love Harry's single mindedness. :) How he escaped and was going to live in a tree. It was very child-like. Fantastic voice for Harry.

Wow that was kinda intense. Harry's right though, they really do need each other, odd as their relationship is.
At first I thought Harry was being naughty when he pulled that prank in the kitchen, but when he panicked and ran away I felt bad for the kid. I wonder how things will go now? Everything’s flip-flopped around so many times in their relationship towards each other, it’s no wonder Snape’s fed-up and a little on the crazy side, lol.
I mean, first Harry wanted to leave, then he ran away, only to return, now he wants to return every summer… I know why he felt these emotions, but it must be stressful on someone like Snape, who never had to deal with this kind of thing before :).
Aww! Poor Snape! That ending was so cute - I was holding my breath. Ooh! It's all so exciting. Thanks for updating. (:
I love it! Poor Harry is so conflicted. He doesn't want to get punished but he wants the love and attention he gets afterwords.
All I could think while I read it was "This kid will be the death of me :)"
This was a great chapter. Harry was so naughty and Snape was being so cold. I can't wait to see if the next chapter resolves the ending of this one. I teared up a bit there at the end.
Aww Harry is so cute, just an ickle boy needing to be scolded and talked to and hugged by his Snape! I love how inventive he was with his trying to annoy Snape and his cute idea of living in a tree to avoid punishment : )
So, you know I'm a huge fan of this story..at least I've mentioned it several times that it's on my top ten list of favorite stories. This chapter started out rather innocently...or maybe not so innocently in Harry's case. Anyways, I loved it. The fact that Snape had to tug Harry out from under the bed? Cute and not usually something you find in a Harry Potter story. You are known for your originality in my opinion anyways. What do I have to say of this chapter though? Okay, well first...Gotta love the fact that Harry wanted to live in a tree. I always thought of that as a kid myself. Absolutely adore trees. I use to climb this huge one where I use to live and just sit up there...there was sap on that tree so it would stick to my hands. I also use to collect pinecones but I'm getting off-track. I also loved the fact of the ending..."you need me just as much as I need you"...So cute. Now, I'm just waiting for a moment when they are in a slight 'public' scene and Snape puts on a protective edge!

What a lovely day you described for Harry. I loved this line: ""It's not a picnic, so don't even begin to think that." I'm afraid Severus is well and truly trapped--he's now given a 12 year-old boy he thought he hated his first happy birthday. ;-)
I LOVE that Harry is slowing breaking away at Snape's shell. He's such an irresistible kid, I love it. I'm interested to see what's going to become of his momentary rebelliousness and Snape sees all of his plants growing sporadically, lol. Ah, but I do love your stories, and I always look forward to reading more :)
