I really love this story, although the last few chapters are making me hyperventilate, and I'm sorry not to have reviewed before now to let you know how fantastic I think it really is!! Truly a tremendous accomplishment, and I 'm looking forward to more, especially the saving Severus part!! **Hee!** Scarlett Author's Response: I'm still killing you? BECAUSE I BAWLED LIKE A BABY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CHAPTER. I didn't even bother with the Kleenex this time. I truly can't decide who gets this chapter's hug. I think multiple hugs are due this time. Remus, for his outstanding care of Harry (even when he floundered and didn't know what to do but what a STROKE OF BRILLIANCE in thinking of Ginny.) Ginny gets one, well, just for being Ginny. Poppy definitely gets one for her status charm. And never in a million years would I consider one for Lucius, but he saved my Severus so he gets one as well. Well, maybe just a pat on the back because he still makes my skin crawl. Harry doesn't get a hug - I need to wrap his poor self in a blanket and just rock him at this point. Your continued brilliancy at writing such intense emotions just leaves me reeling. I feel *everything* Harry feels as I read it. The hysteria, the catatonia, the denial at Severus' even possibly being alive (he SAW his dad's death? ACK!) And then trying so hard to get himself back into control because it's what his dad would have wanted him to do. Remus making him feel Severus' pulse just to convince Harry. I adore that werewolf. And him BARKING at everyone (pardon the pun) to get out of the way so he could help Harry. I would have gotten out of the way too! I just hope Severus doesn't have some huge memory loss or something and doesn't remember Harry is his son. You wouldn't do that, would you? (Looks pitifully at you). Because we *need* to hear Severus tell Harry he loves him. Well, I guess you've pulled pkrosche and I out of the misery hole. I'm just kind of sitting at the edge now wondering if we're all about to fall in again though. Better get more marshmallows for our hot chocolate though. We might be in for a long wait on the recovery front. I need chocolate now....LOTS of chocolate. Author's Response: Well I do feel a slight twinge of guilt now that I've seen it from the other side. Your poster is haunting my mind right now...which actually is a very good thing as I write the next few chapters. *evil, evil grin* And yes, I do believe I will take a solid gold shrine. Thanks. Remus does deserve a hug here, it's true. He was gonna be there for Harry, darnit. He just was. I enjoyed his floundering though. It was fun. Ginny and Poppy need one too, it's true. They're all magnificent. LOL about the pat on the back for Lucius. Come on, Cathy...he saved Sev. You know you wanna just give him a big ole sloppy kiss. Harry needs to be rocked it's true. If he ever needed his father, it's now. *sobs* You don't even know how much I love that you say you feel what Harry is feeling. That's really what these last two chapters have been about. Sure, I could have done them as one but I wanted it broken into two very separate pieces. Yes, Harry saw the whole thing, well not the whole thing but even of Sev being blugeoned to haunt his dreams for years to come. *shivers* Again, I love that werewolf too. Poor Tonks, getting a vision of a very angry Remus. *brrr again* Memory less...hmmm...what was that? Long wait indeed. Don't fall back in though. Lucius wont' be up for saving anybody right now. :oP
Ok, I do love you platonically and freely give you all the hugs and kissses and chocolate frogs you deserve! (Which is a lot, in case you're worried!) Thank you, first of all for not killing Sev out right...although you had me worried. (All apart of the plan, right?) But, it was a lovely chapter and I must applaud you for keeping everyone in character once more as it is probably getting harder and harder...but they were! Remus was wonderful, I just loved the determination, love, and desire to do something for Harry although he didn't know what that thing was that rolled off him in waves throughout the chapter were great! I am very happy with Remus, and he gets a kiss and hug too! Ginny also was magnificent, it's great to know she's still got that little (or pretty big) piece of her mom in her to make Harry listen. It was also very good thinking on Remus' part too to bring her there. Another hug for Remus and two for Ginny. And Harry...poor Harry. I was very glad that he had his shields up the whole time, and am a little concerned about Voldie...and Lucius...I guess I can hug Lucius too, although he'd probably not like it. But Harry was perfectly in character and I love how he became so out of touch with the real world, thinking that his father was dead...but I'm kinda mad at Remus...why didn't you just tell him right away that Sev was alive?!?!?! *takes back a hug* Although I realize it was crutial for us readers to be kept in suspence and I suppose that it's possible that Harry didn't register the information, but we were in Remus' thoughts...but if Poppy just needed Harry off Sev so she could work then it would be ok...or did she already cast the charm before Harry arrived or not? Hmmm...who else? Severus himself, I suppose...YOU BETTER NOT DIE, SEV! Ok, an one gentle hug to him and a kiss that he would probably kill me for if he were awake or when he finds out...and lots of hugs and kisses for Harry. I think that's it. Thank you soo much for updating...you truly are a goddess! Looking forward to the next chapter, as soon as you write it. I didn't really mind that these chapters were shorter than usual, in the amount of time that you put them out they're more than what I could ask for...so, thank you! Hopefully your muse keeps you busy... I'm also really glad that this chapter ended on a semi-happy note...at least more happy than the last few and I don't really feel like I'm going to burst into tears at the slightest provocation...so thanks for that too. Good luck with the next chapter...I just hope that you see the necessity of letting Sev keep his wits about him and thus keep him completely healthy in the mind department...please... LOL Remus is beautiful oh and don't be made at him. He didn't even realize Harry didn't know his father was alive. Remus was so muddled, he didn't really have a clue what he was doing. Although, at least he managed to get Ginny there. Yes, Lucius needs a hug. Poor man. Poor Malfoys in general. Poppy had begun the inital charm work before Harry came up and so she needed Harry off pronto to finish up. My muses are busy indeed, though they're sorta floating through more than one chapter at once. LOL Glad you're feeling more emotinally stable. :oP Thanks for another great review. :O)
