Reviews For Mine by Blood
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it.
I hope you continue to write. The story has potential. Author's Response: Thank you for the majority of your review and I do understand the other comments that you have made. I am aware that I have made large changes in the characterisation of Snape but if I do manage to continue this into Harry's first year then we will see the return of the sarcastic and snarling Severus Snape that we all love! Poppy and Mad-Eye aren't actually together - I apologise for any confusion. She's just giving a present from the both of them as Mad-Eye is too busy being the paranoid Head of the Auror department and is completely disassociated from children. I completely accept your decision but I do feel that my story can be called fanfiction however, if everybody agreed with one another then the world would be a very boring place! Thank you for the compliments and the comments, I really do appreciate them all.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I'm glad that you like the all of the new characters that I've created - I was a bit worried as to how well they would be accepted. Yes, Lucius and Severus are related but it is very distant. I will see what I can do about getting a copy of the family tree on the internet to help clarify things.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you very much, I'm so glad that you liked it.
Author's Response: Thank you ..... he is adorable! I have so much fun writing him!
Author's Response: Thank you - I'm really glad that you like it. Yes, when Harry took the Paternitas potion the scar disappeared. Don't ask me how (I haven't quite figured that bit out!)
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Lily and James will be making an appearance very soon and then they will be permanent fixtures for a while at least....haven't quite decided how long they're going to be around for!
Is sirius going to be a snotty git? and what of Remus? What was the potter's reasoning for getting rid of harry in the first place and is their selfish narcissist attitudes going to become public knowledge? Can't wait foryour next update. Author's Response: Thank you! The first meeting between the Snapes and the Potters will be very soon....I promise! Erm, I'm not going to answer that about Sirius and Remus in case I give the plot away. The Potter's got rid of Harry because they believed firstly that it was his twin Marcus who defeated Voldemort and secondly, and probably more importantly, Lily and James heard Harry using parsletongue. Rather than have the Potter line "tainted" with dark magick they dumped Harry on the Dursley's so they were left with their supposedly perfect family. As for if their attitudes are going to be made public.....haven't quite decided that yet!
Author's Response: Well, if you were Snape and you had a child wouldn't you start them on potions young? Besides, talent for potions runs in Severus' family and Alex is at the age where his father is literally as good as a god....anything his daddy does, he wants to do as well. Plus it means that he gets to spend more time with Severus. I'm genuinely pleased that you're enjoying this. I can't really comment on the Potter's as that will give a hefty chunk of plot away but I'm glad you liked the concept of Lucius being another spy for Dumbledore. |
