Oh my goodness, that happened! Amazing chapter end
I began reading "Shadow" in French on fanfiction.net last year and fell in love with it! (I'm up to chapter 25 in French.) it's great to see an English translation on P&S so that even more readers can enjoy the story! I especially love the characterization of the cat, and the way you have of putting your audience into his mind, seeing the world from Shadow's point of view! (Also, I hope you don't mind, but your writing was the inspiration for my pen name: I was reading about Snape speaking to the cat "en sa voix shadowienne", and I realized I'd found my pen name! Merci!)

Oh my gosh!!! You can't leave it there! *sniffs* It's not fair! This is such a wonderful fic. Your characterization of Severus is wonderfully done, and I find it interesting that Shadow has no real memories of being Harry...I wonder...will Harry remember being Shadow? Also, your general plot is quite original (at least, I haven't come across one like it, and while I haven't read every fanfic out there, I have read a great many of them...I noticed that you've only discovered the fandom recently, so if you like, I could recommend some...by the way, "A Year Like None Other" is one of my favorites, too.) I also understand that you have many more chapters written in French. While I am certainly can't speak, read, or write French, I can correct your English, if that's where the translation problem is. I can't translate, but I can make sure it has good English grammar, even from a direct translation (I hope that made sense...). Anyway, I'm willing to help in whatever way I can. I literally can't wait for the next chapter to be out! Keep it up, you're doing so well!

Oh how you could you do this....slowly immerse us into the story...deeper and deeper....totally interested in it to be left with this ending. I need to read more! Great update.
Author's Response: thank you ! I hate cliffs in others' story, but I guess that this is a reflexe when you writte: be mean to the reader ;-)
Lovely story so far. What an interesting way for Harry to get a chance to heal and recover from Sirius' death. I can't wait to see how Snape reacts to his new knowledge.
