Reviews For The Last Gift
Author's Response: thank you very much :-)
Author's Response: Thank you very much ! James, and even more Lily will have a lot to say in a near future- in their own, silent way, of course ;-)
Author's Response: thank you, a lot more angst to come ;-)
Poor Harry, my heart broke for him all over again, seeing how defeated and hopeless he is, how he blames himself so for Sirius' death and for all the things that have gone wrong, things that he really isn't to blame at all for. And Petunia was just horrible as well. I feel so badly for Harry having to live with those people for so many years! I am glad that Severus seems to be willing to help Harry now, and watch over him. I hope this will be the beginning of a better relationship for them. And I really, really wish I could French! I'm dying to know what's coming up! Author's Response: Thank you very much ! The Dursley are not totally done with yet, unfortunately ! but are not done with punishment either... And Harry as a lot to face now, being pulled in this situation, but at least he's not totally alone anymore ! but yes, he has issues with guilt... quite a lot. Severus will also have a long and hard way to go, but he's on the right path really ;-)
Author's Response: lol thank you ! Snape is quite possessive, really, even for a fleabag ;-)
Author's Response: Right ;-) I'm sure you know "rendez-vous", "cul-de-sac", "ciché" "protégé"... ;-) And yes, Snape is going to help a lot ! Just wait for chapter 22 !! :-D
Author's Response: thank you :-)
Poor Sev, this meeting wasn't quite what he expected. Those memories of Vernon's were certainly disturbing, the great lout definitely deserves what Sev dished out and more. I thought it was funny and kind of sweet when Sev threatened Vernon to not harm 'his cat' again, it made me smile :) Petunia's attitude really upset Sev as well, what a shock to find out the sister of the one you loved was so cruel to someone she held dearly? Petunia's words about him taking in Harry and being his own must have really hit home, but I so wish Sev had taken Harry in. The Dursleys are evil! I LOVE the end of this chapter, where Lily thanks Sev and James was good enough to be grateful to Sev. It shows that James grew up and that Sev knows Lily still thinks well of him after their fight years ago. I'm curious about how Dumbledore will take this news. He seemed upset enough when Harry reacted so badly before, so he’s bound to be upset by Sev's news. Sev may want to leave the room, lol. The Dursleys need to face the wrath of Dumbledore! I'm ecstatic chapter 10 is translated, I can't wait to read it! I feel like squeee myself, lol ;) Author's Response: thank you very much for the wonderful review! Yep, Snape got quite a surprise at the Dursleys', though he suspected something from the wounds of the cat... but Petunia's attitude was what shocked him the most. I wanted Snape to know, even if just from "shadows" that Lily and James were grateful... he will have more opportunities in the future to really see that without a doubt, though. DDumbledore will certainly no be happy about that ;-) more in the next chapter ! stay tuned ;-) |
