Reviews For The Last Gift
Author's Response: Thank you very much, I'm flattered you are still reading :-)
Man, all those horribly devastating memories and emotions... I just can’t imagine someone feeling so lost inside. It makes my heart ache. When Harry finally got through to Severus, letting the man know how much he meant to him... I was so happy! It made me smile for a short while, and I was thinking that this was the final key to freeing Sev. And now... I honestly can't say I blame Sev for walking out on Dumbledore. Clearly he feels absolutely betrayed. But that last sentence made me feel dismayed. It stinks that Sev doesn’t realize they care for him! If only he’d looked back! *sob* (lol) PLEASE, please post again soon! I can’t tell you how happy I was to see this chapter finally up and posted, but now I'm once again desperate to read more ^_^ Author's Response: That was bad, wasn't it ? But you never know what life throws at you next, even the best, sometimes... that's why you have to keep going, though it was not what Snape thought! You're right, Snape is now totally upset, at everyone really, but mostly Dumbledore... betrayl, really ? He REALLY didn't deserve this! and he can"t see pass through the betrayal ( did I put that sentence right ? not sure...) Next chapter is coming ;-)
I'm so happy and relieved that Harry was able to convince Severus how much he needed and loved him...and more, that he accepts him as is, even knowing all about the past. Severus needed that so much, and they are really and truly committed to one another and to being a family for one another. I'm so happy for them. But I do feel badly that there is such anger between Severus and Dumbledore, though I can't blame Severus a bit for it. I'm so eager for the next chapter! Thank you, Keina, and thank you RaeWhit for translating! Author's Response: Thanks Kristeh ! It was a hard chapter to write! Yes, Harry was able to save Severus, but there is a price to that... a high price indeed! But nevermind, they've done a big step forward now! As for Dumbledore... oh well yes, he will have to pay too, and not with lemon drops!
Author's Response: thank you ;-)
(This has become one of my all-time favorite stories and I look forward to every update. You've left me speechless...) Author's Response: ow, thank you very much *blushes* I can't tell how grateful I am to Raewhit for translating this story, I love to be able to share with English readers!
I'm looking forward to your next update. V Author's Response: Yoi're absolutely right, that's what Shadow was sorry he didn't. But well, that's not how Snape works, he just doesn't look back... especially in anger!
I was a bit confused that Harry seemed to wake up as boy when he had went to sleep as a cat when he saved Severus. Could you explain what happens there? Now I really want to know what Harry saw on everyone's faces as Severus flooed away. I can't wait to read more! -P.G. P.S. I couldn't believe Harry said that he was "Severus' son" out loud! Wow, I wonder what the teachers think about that! Author's Response: A bit sad indeed ;-) You'll se very soon that there was indeed a lot of meaning behind that scene... as for Harry, remember that in his dream, he suddenly changed from cat to human? Well he didn't do it in dream only, actually. But shifting shape happens to him often whiles he sleep, that how he was discovered the first time! I can also tell you that Dumbledore wisely changed Severus' pyjamas to robes back during that time ;-p Not so stupid, after all! As for what Harry saw, I think you can guess it: regret and sorrow from all of the professor left ;-)
Author's Response: well my account was being tested for some time and I didn't notice that there were 4 fake chapters for test... I deleted them afterward, but that might explain, yes!
Author's Response: Thank you ;-) It was a hard journey for both Snape and Harry, but they did it! You're not the only one having dard thoughts about Dumbledore, SNape is not happy at all with him! His intentions were really honorable though, forced sleep as he claimed... but that went terribly wrong! |
