Reviews For The Last Gift
I'm glad that Severus handled the green room well. I was really worried about how he'd react to Harry going in there. I like that you had him get rid of the memory though--really, it is probably best that he wasn't dwelling on such a sad event when he was alone. I think he'll be able to stomach the memories better with Harry there to distract him. Oh, and I love how you wrote the exact moment when Harry realizes the room is Lily's. You expressed his shock and anger at Severus for not sharing it so well. I also like how he was just totally overwhelmed and had to leave. That was the best part of this chapter, really. It was written very cleverly. Great job! -P.G. Author's Response: Well, to be honest, Harry is drunk... and a little dense. It just doesn't occure to him that he could be anyting else than just some good perception of him. Good boy. As for Loki... well, it' s probably a bit obvious ;-) Harry is getting very enthusiastic with Snape talking about family, but he truly is James' biological son here, this will not develop into a Severitus. Unless I have some strange idea later in this story, but so far... no! Poor Harry and Severus really had a hard chapter there ;-) thank you !
Author's Response: oh yes, poor Remus too, everyone had every reason to be veeeery embarassed in this chapter! The only one who enjoyed it a whole lot was Dumbledore, I think he nearly peed on himself with laugthers, to be honest ! ;-p
Author's Response: huhu thank you!
I hope that Sev is not too hard on the boy, although Harry was very foolish. I love the green tail. Too funny. I can't wait for the next update. Author's Response: thank you :-) I don't think that Snape will be too hard on his cat. He was not totally displeased with the show, after all !
and... "Pinch me, ... is he suckling at your robes?" You have a way with these characters that is truly fabulous. I am glad the issue of paternity has come out, and is now all clear... well... mostly. Brilliant chapter. Author's Response: thank you ;-) I think it will be clearer for Harry once he is sobber lol !
I cried about Lily's Room (I can't help thinking about it that way even if she didn't eevr stay there), especially when Harry buried his face in the fabric of her dresses. Bravo! Dancingkatz Author's Response: oh, I'm glad that someone actually was sad about this first part, strange enough but the French readers loved this part more and the English readers prefered the funny part! Thank you ;-) |
