I tend to write a review but I had to say something here. You've written the most detailed, aggravating (in a good way) adoption process I have ever come across in all the Severitus stories I read. A truly beautiful job. Thank you!
I'm going to admit it, I had a hard time getting through these last two chapters...
All because you write so wonderfully and I was having a major angst fest worrying that Harry wouldn't get his adoption. :

I don't think the crystal part was too much. I think it worked well. My favourite bit was when Harry stuck his head out the door and discovered Madam Bones as gong at Saintclair and Hopkins. Excellent chapter!

Fabulous work--how did I miss this chapter!? I loved the drama between Draco and Lucius, oh my, and the wonderful conversation between work and Harry with the crystal. I'm shocked that Snape was able to keep his arm a secret from Harry, but relieved too, as that might have been a deal-breaker. Hehe, I can just picture Hermione getting all of those sigs, too. Nice touch.

Thanks again both of you! :) Great update as always - I thought the truth crystal was ok; I was actually surprised you didn't show more of them both - but I suppose they both already knew most of each other's motives anyway!
Author's Response: well for now they have, though the issue will probably have to be discussed from time to time, I guess that's how it works, you can expect it not to be some work ;-)

Hmmm, I don't think the crystal was over the top at all, au contraire, I think it revealed some subtle issues that hadn't been cleared up, had them talk of things they wouldn't have done--like Snape's fears that Harry would 'outgrow' his need of Snape, Harry's lingering concern that Snape might once again abandon him. And I thought it very IC with Filius to think of it, au fait.
