Reviews For The Last Gift
When I read the story summary, you grabbed my attention right away, and I have to tell you that I've spent hours reading this practically non-stop since I found it last Friday, to the detriment of my housekeeping! You made the Snape adopting Harry into a believable situation, and I dearly wish that Rowling's Snape had been closer to yours. You've done a great job on characterization of all the characters, and I especially love how artfully you have kept the plot going, giving us teasers of conversation between characters, but not letting us know what it was really about until later when you give us a new plot twist. Well done! Very well done! (And a huge "well done" to your translator too!) Author's Response: thank you very much! Don't worry, housekeeping is overrated! I'm glad you like the story, I really have to go back to writing it, it's been a few months now, time is running so quickly... anyway, my wonderful translator was faster than me and a new chapter will be up in a few minutes:
Is it bad that I kind of don't want James' wand to really work for Harry? So why can he use Snape's? When are we going to find out? Author's Response: THank you! In retrospect this is probably one of the chapter I should have cut off, but I felt like I was putting a lot of things into it at the time. I'm glad you liked it :-) As for James' wand, don't worry, you'll find out!
Author's Response: thank you! I like those characters that are in the books but not too well known, it's a great opportunity to use them... I think a lot could be said about Regulus, he would probably deserve a story of his own!
