Reviews For Never Say Remember
I think you've captured Snape wonderfully as well. The end reminded me so much of the Snape in the other demention. It's interesting to see how the two connect. I feel incredibly sympathetic toward Harry. I feel sorry for both of them, really. Both Harry and Snape love Lily, and it made my heart about drop out of my chest when I read this line: "You know nothing," Snape said. "You vile hobgoblin, stealing my son and latching onto her as though you were hers. Who are you to intrude into my life and demand answers? You are the one who has no idea what it means to love her." **About killed me. I can't wait to see what happens next in this story! I love it. Author's Response: Your excitement is infectious—I'm excited when I see you've reviewed again! Yes, I tried to keep Snape's basic personality the same, yet still have AU-Snape changed by all the choices he's made—the bad and the good. Is it crass to say I love that line, too? I've read it at least 20 times during the editing process and it still gives me chills. Eeep! Can you imagine Snape getting in your face and saying that to you? Run, Harry, run!
Author's Response: Such kind words are motivating me to write more, so perhaps there are additional fics in my future. Many thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! It's so great to hear your thoughts on each chapter! Yes, I'm trying to follow the theme of different choices, different consequences. |
