Reviews For Never Say Remember
I was tearing up a bit, my itunes in the background on random playlist, thinking how sad (but not desperately so) the song was that was playing and how its mood fit this final chapter...and I just saw that it's called "I'll remember you" by Sophie Zelmani -- one song that I never listen to out of almost 3000. Very nice story, not overly fluff but not depressingly sad either. A not-so-(un?)happy ending after a story which kept the canon characters nicely in character but still left room for them to grow according to your storyline. Good job. Author's Response: Music is a great accompaniment to both reading and writing. :) Thanks—I didn't want fluff but I didn't want excessive wallowing, either. And I like the idea that the story goes on after I write "The End."
I found it by accident (so lucky accident!) and though that it can be fun to read it, so save it and today I couldn't walk away from it. When I had to go out I needed to print myself few chapters to read in bus. It was so emotional and so good evolution of characters! And last few chapters make me cry all the time. I really love it! I hope this Snape and Harry can be happy in their world to, in any any they want, cos they can't became I their Other selfs, but they can be different, still happy, right? It was really nice written too. I really really enjoy reading it, and idea it self was magnificent! You are really great author and I hope I will read a lot of your work and they will be that good! Thank you so much for sharing this! Author's Response: Your review made me smile. I've had those moments, too--where I can't let go of a story and have to take it with me. :) I'm glad you experienced that with my story. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. Now I can get back to reading more fanfic--I've been depriving myself. :)
This was a very emotional and enjoyable story, Malora. I loved reading it! You’re a really good writer :). Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you had a good experience reading the story.
Any chance for a sequel, because I just don't want to let these two Harry and Snape's go, and because there are so many avenues that could be explored in both their relationship. Congratulations Malora on the completion of such a beautiful and emotional story. You really are a gifted writer. Author's Response: Thank you so much. It's good to know that the story touched you. I'm not planning on a sequel. When I thought about it, the storylines got too complicated in my head, and I imagine it would take five years to write! I'm very happy to have finished this story, though--it turned out much longer than I anticipated, but it was a worthwhile journey. I learned so much, often from the comments of reviewers. It's been a great experience.
I will be rereading from the beginning again, to savor the whole experience again - my box of tissues at my elbow!!! Author's Response: How nice that you're going to reread it! That's wonderful. Here's to good reading, and plentiful boxes of tissues: IK IK
:)
Such a wonderful job with the emotions and actions and characterizations. Everyone is so alive to me. Author's Response: I appreciate how appreciative you are. :) Seriously--your enthusiasm makes me smile every time. |
