ooo - Tom Riddle as little Harry's godfather. Wonder how he'll take it. ^^

And isn't it a nice christmas present for Severus to get?

At least it was a real surprise for Christmas ;-)

Cute! :) I'll have to come back and review this properly and the rest after my chemistry exam this week.

    Author's Response:

Oh, teddy goes into hiding, quickly eats up all the chocolate frogs :-)

Thanks, Jan, and good luck with your exam!

Tom Riddle? Well, you've certainly thrown me for a loop here, Teddy! Guess I'll keep reading and find out.

Oh, I loved the beginning, btw!

Well, I loved it. Of course. :o)

Dumbledore is evil and Tom Riddle (aka Voldemort) is obviously not. It's not confusing...it's just a beginning with a bit of mystery. Awesome. Love stories that aren't what we all expect!

Author's Response: Thanks - I'm glad you liked it! Maybe people just want to read what they expect...?

Oo Why Tom Riddle as a godparent? Or am I just missing something? I like how you started out. Great story

    Author's Response:

No, you didn't miss anything *lol*

Thanks for your review - I'm glad you liked it :-)

Tom Riddle is Harry's godfather? Hmm, I am sure you will explain that one.

Author's Response: I will leave the explanation to Sev., but, yes, he will certainly explain :-)

Oh wow! Tom Riddle as a godfather, how exciting. Does that mean there's still some of Tom, the young enigmatic man, left deep within Voldermort? And Severus knows it, for him to make the choice to appoint him godfather? Intriguing! Look forward to the next part.

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it so far. I believe Severus has to explain quite a bit. Don't hesitate to ask him whatever you need to know .... or wait for the next chapter :-)

Oooh! Tom as Harry's godfather! Exciting.

One question though - why does the ministry readily accept the birth of a child in 1992 when the woman listed as his mother has been dead since 1981?

    Author's Response:

Lily was not officially decleared dead in contrary to James Potter, because they hadn't found a body of her and because she was still listed in the Magical Book of Wizards and Witches. Moreover, they performed a Parantage test which clearly stated Severus Snape and Lily Potter as parents. Concerning the date of birth, they had the birth certificate issued by Pomfrey. And finally, everything went so smoothly because Severus took the matter to the right person within the Ministry.

Thanks for reading and reviewing :-)
