I've spent quite a few hours over the past week or so reading the first fifty chapters of this story, and I really really like it. At first, I was taken aback by the point of view, but I have to admit that it's grown on me. Also, I accidentally referred to myself as a "dunderhead" earlier--not out loud, but it was still an interesting development =]. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

I stuck with your story and I love it. Please do continue. Its nice the way you made Harry and Severus in a way that everyone BUT Severus seems to understand. Harry's always coming to him like a child to a parent - I wonder when Severus will realize that!

Get in here-- I need a victim. HOOT!!! It had been so long since the last update, I'd forgotten how FUNNY the interplay between Moody and Snape was! I kept laughing all the way through this chapter! I began reading RofD when you had about 14 chapters posted, and I've never given up on it. I was so GLAD to see that it's still in progress! Excellent chapter-- as usual!
Oooh, what's going on? Darn cliffhangers, always making me nervous, lol.
I’ve been away from the site for a while, so I had a lot of catching up to do. But hey, getting caught up was fun! McGonagall can be very devious when she wants to, locking the password like that :D

Wow! What a place to end the chapter! :)
I started reading this last night when I saw it in the "recently updated" fics section, and it just sucked me in. I can't decide what I like best about it, as the plotline, the characterization and interactions are all superb.
I did notice something that appears to be a glitch. At the Dept of Mysteries, it was said that Rastaban LeStrange had been killed, but then later on, it was said that he was in back in Azkaban. That sort of threw me for a few minutes but then I got sucked back into the story and enjoyed it thoroughly.
I like it that you weren't afraid to have physical consequences for Severus' torture, and that he doesn't have a "picture perfect" recovery like I've read in other stories. I like his grumpy/snarky/dark humor personality, and how you made it work for him to refer to Harry Potter as Harry instead of always using his last name.
Great job and well done! I'm really looking forward to what comes next.
Ooh exciting, it was good to see an update here, I remember reading this originally and absolutly loving it but I feel like ive lost what the story is about because ive read so many since then, i'll be looking forward to more chapters and even more to re-reading it when its done :)
