    WOW!
okay I am forcing myself to stop reading long enough to review. The story is so good I am sorely tempted to just keep reading! I can't seem to stop!
But I did want to pause long enough to say that you story is absolutely amazing. I love the developing friendship between Harry and Snape. This is one of the few Harry-and-Snape-tolerate-each-other stories where I really believe it could happen. I can't seem to stop reading and just want more and more!
One of my favorite stories. No doubt about that.

I like your Moody so very much! He is more than just a figure of fun - he is competent, experienced, and sharp. He and Snape would have issues, understandably, but I can see them respecting each others different capabilities.

I also liked that you gave the Auror a reason that was understandable for his actions. There must have been any number of fighters for the side of light who had to deal with those they felt were responsible for the deaths of family members - and there would probably have been terrible retribution at times. This is a much more realistic presentation of the horrors of war and terrorism.

Great chapter - not fluffy, but meaty!
