"devoted little shadow you seem to have acquired" Oh that is too cute!!! I love there relationship, harry and Snape's, and Snape's and Moody to be honest. But I feel like harry snuck past Snape's guard very naturally, but slowly. i am off to read more, keep up the great work!

I really like the relationship you are building between Moody and Snape - their shifting from suspicion and dislike to a cautious acceptance is going at just the right pace. I enjoyed the duel, and found it perfectly believable that Snape would have a flashback in the middle of it.
Severus downed his without question although he didn’t care for the look in her eyes when she handed it to him—unless he missed his guess, there was going to be a suggestion of mindhealers in the near future. Probably the very near future. Alastor glared for a bit, considering the two vials he was handed from all angles before he finally took them. Perhaps St. Mungos offers a two-for-one special.
Ohh i love your wit, this is the best line ever, lol. You capture his Character so well, its a joy to read.
wow... I just realized while reading this chapter that I can't recall a specific moment when Snape and Harry's relationship changed for the better. So congratulations on making the change very slow and subtle. It's a challenge to do that well!
