Reviews For Come What May
Author's Response: I'm trying to get it up soon Alexis, :) Thank you for your review!
Author's Response: (Wince) I'm sorry about the mistakes Sun. I'll go over the chapter again ans re-post it. I need to do that with the entire story come to think of it. Thank you for the review, it meant a lot.
Author's Response: You will just have to wait and see, lol. Sorry Cecilia, I will tell you that it involves the Giant Squid, (wink). Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Yep, there getting along okay. Nothing has happened yet for them not to. Thank you for your review!
I loved how Harry and the others bested Umbridge, but I'm not sure she's gone for good. She's probably just regrouping. And you know, if students are justified to rebel against abusive professors, maybe they'd be justified in rebelling against Severus, too. But probably emotional abuse doesn't count, hmm? It was a fabulous chapter, very well-written! Looking forward to the next one! Author's Response: Yes, there is more, much more. Hope your response to what's coming won't be the same as others, (wince). I'm afraid it seems I have been very mean to Harry. I think emotionasl abuse does count as somethingthgat could get Severus in trouble. Now though, the students have seen someone a lot worse then Snape. Snape never made them cut lines into their own hands. That's just sadistic and she needs to be punished. Severus spits out hurtfull words and most of the school may hate him but I think Umbridge is worse by far. Thank you for reviewing!
Great chapter again! I enjoyed it. Author's Response: It's not easy and Severus had a right to be suspicious. Harry's attitude about the apolgy and the apology it's self was not what Snape was suspecting. We are lucky he did not fain on the spot, lol. Thank you for your review.
I know Harry was wrong to look into Snape's Pensieve...I'm not trying to make excuses for him. It was just wrong. But I've also always thought that Severus pretty much did the same thing to Harry. He may not have actually sneaked into a Pensieve, but he did violate Harry's mind and steal looks into Harry's private thoughts as well. I'm sure Severus would excuse himself by saying that Harry had to learn Occlumency and be strong, that Voldemort wouldn't show any mercy, but that's really just a cop-out, I think. First, saying that Voldemort wouldn't show mercy is true, but then again, Severus isn't Voldemort and he's expected to be a better person. He is a better person and so he shouldn't excuse his own actions just by saying that Voldemort would do the same, if that makes any sense. Secondly, though Harry does need to learn Occlumency, it's obvious that Severus' method isn't working. I owuld think that at least in the beginning some level of trust would be beneficial and Severus is not only not attempting to build any trust, he's actively discouraging it by his own actions. The truth of the matter, IMHO anyway, is that Severus relishes his chances to humiliate and hurt Harry. Now, two wrongs don't make a right, and it is still inexcusable that Harry looked into the Pensieve without permission. But I do think that Severus ought to also see and admit that he was wrong, too. But please, please don't take my comments as criticism of your story, because I didn't mean it that way. Just sharing my views of the situation (whether you wanted to hear all that or not, lol) because I truly enjoy discussing the characters and events and hearing people's opinions. In my own stories, I love the reviews that do that, and sometimes make me think about things I might not have and consider what I feel and where I'm going with the story. It is a brilliant start and I can't wait to read more! Author's Response: I don't mind hearing peoples thoughts. It was nice to look at that sitouation from someones elses perspective and I agree that Harry was wrong with doing what he did. I think he has realised that what he did was wrong and that he had better make it up too Snape. His future depends on it. I did not take any critism from your review. I enjoyed reading it, thank you.
Author's Response: Thanks Jadie, I don't think how other people act towards Malfoy would be considered s aecret. Just something surprising maybe. A secret in this case would be anything they did not want the other person to know, something that could get them in trouble or somthing that could be embaressing. Like if Malfoy had a teddy bear, lol. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: The Gryffindors are going to be truly creative, lol. You will just have to wait and see what they do. Thanks for reviewing!
So far Harry has done a pretty good job handling the Slytherins, he's kept his cool and so far nothing horrible has happened. I loved Harry's comment “I’ll have you know that these are authentic tattered garments,” Harry said with a proud air and a sniff that matched Malfoys from earlier. “They came all the way from the gutters of Venice.” That quote is awesome! I think Harry handled the prank really well, and I think it was funny what he did. The school sure was surprised with his new look, lol. Hopefully, Harry will continue coping with this new situation. Of coarse, nothing is ever perfect and something bad is sure to happen *looks shifty-eyed*. I'll be waiting for your next chapter! Can't wait to see how the rest of Harry's day goes and what will happen once Harry gets to return to Gryffindor Tower. Then the tables are turned and Harry can give as good as he gets! Author's Response: I was sorry to hear about your internet being down. That really rots but I'm glad your back! I love it when readers quote the story, i was slightly worried about that comment so I'm very glad you liked it! Harry is growing up, I did not like it when he pitched fits, lol.
