Great chapter! Interesting how Malfoy is (hopefully) going to help Harry out with his Occlumency. I really hope the next chapter will be out soon since I'm eagerly awaiting the prank! :)

Author's Response: I'm trying to get it up soon Alexis, :) Thank you for your review!

This was a fun chapter with lots of good things set up for the future. Of course, I'm eager to find out what the Gryffindors have planned. And you are doing a great job of giving Harry a look at what Slytherins are really like and giving the Slytherins a chance to see Harry's compassion. But you desperately need to have this betaed more closely. There were several "would of"s instead of "would have"s. There were several misspelled words. In one place "wand" became "and". It really broke up the flow of this very good story.

Author's Response: (Wince) I'm sorry about the mistakes Sun. I'll go over the chapter again ans re-post it. I need to do that with the entire story come to think of it. Thank you for the review, it meant a lot.

Author's Response: You will just have to wait and see, lol. Sorry Cecilia, I will tell you that it involves the Giant Squid, (wink). Thanks for the review!

Awesome! Well, it seems like Draco and Harry are getting along much better now and I liked all the classes and I wonder why Sev trusts Draco not to reveal Harry's secret once the bond is broken. Can't wait to see what Harry has in store for Draco.

Author's Response: Yep, there getting along okay. Nothing has happened yet for them not to. Thank you for your review!
Title: Chapter 3: Lesson in Privacy 02 Jun 2008 7:44 am

Oh, wow...poor Harry indeed! I feel so horrible for him, having his memories displayed for the whole class, and it sounds like worse is to come. I think this seems especially horrible to me because I am essentially a very private person and have to feel comfortable with them before letting my guard down. I hope Severus will see that Harry is sincere and will resume Occlumency. I know right now that Harry is concerned with getting Severus' forgiveness (and rightly so since he knows that Sirius' life and other lives depend on him learning Occlumency), but I have to say that if I were Harry, I'd have a hard time forgiving Severus. But I guess Harry isn't really thinking about forgiving...he just needs Severus to work with him. I wonder, will that change and they eventually become close? I hope so, but I also hope that Severus feels some intense remorse.

I loved how Harry and the others bested Umbridge, but I'm not sure she's gone for good. She's probably just regrouping. And you know, if students are justified to rebel against abusive professors, maybe they'd be justified in rebelling against Severus, too. But probably emotional abuse doesn't count, hmm?

It was a fabulous chapter, very well-written! Looking forward to the next one!

Author's Response: Yes, there is more, much more. Hope your response to what's coming won't be the same as others, (wince). I'm afraid it seems I have been very mean to Harry. I think emotionasl abuse does count as somethingthgat could get Severus in trouble. Now though, the students have seen someone a lot worse then Snape. Snape never made them cut lines into their own hands. That's just sadistic and she needs to be punished. Severus spits out hurtfull words and most of the school may hate him but I think Umbridge is worse by far. Thank you for reviewing!
Title: Chapter 2: The Apology 02 Jun 2008 7:10 am

Oh, poor Harry. I felt so badly for him. Apologising is never easy, and then for Severus to be so horrible about it. Though of course I can understand that he's suspicious and I didn't expect it to be easy.

Great chapter again! I enjoyed it.

Author's Response: It's not easy and Severus had a right to be suspicious. Harry's attitude about the apolgy and the apology it's self was not what Snape was suspecting. We are lucky he did not fain on the spot, lol. Thank you for your review.
Title: Chapter 1: Consequences 02 Jun 2008 6:52 am
Reviewer: Kristeh (Signed) [Report This]
This was a wonderful beginning, Scorpia! Exciting and tense and sorrowful. It was horrible to see olderHarry...how badly things had turned out and how bitter and twisted he had become. I do hope youngerHarry will be able to change things.

I know Harry was wrong to look into Snape's Pensieve...I'm not trying to make excuses for him. It was just wrong. But I've also always thought that Severus pretty much did the same thing to Harry. He may not have actually sneaked into a Pensieve, but he did violate Harry's mind and steal looks into Harry's private thoughts as well.

I'm sure Severus would excuse himself by saying that Harry had to learn Occlumency and be strong, that Voldemort wouldn't show any mercy, but that's really just a cop-out, I think. First, saying that Voldemort wouldn't show mercy is true, but then again, Severus isn't Voldemort and he's expected to be a better person. He is a better person and so he shouldn't excuse his own actions just by saying that Voldemort would do the same, if that makes any sense.

Secondly, though Harry does need to learn Occlumency, it's obvious that Severus' method isn't working. I owuld think that at least in the beginning some level of trust would be beneficial and Severus is not only not attempting to build any trust, he's actively discouraging it by his own actions.

The truth of the matter, IMHO anyway, is that Severus relishes his chances to humiliate and hurt Harry. Now, two wrongs don't make a right, and it is still inexcusable that Harry looked into the Pensieve without permission. But I do think that Severus ought to also see and admit that he was wrong, too.

But please, please don't take my comments as criticism of your story, because I didn't mean it that way. Just sharing my views of the situation (whether you wanted to hear all that or not, lol) because I truly enjoy discussing the characters and events and hearing people's opinions. In my own stories, I love the reviews that do that, and sometimes make me think about things I might not have and consider what I feel and where I'm going with the story.

It is a brilliant start and I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: I don't mind hearing peoples thoughts. It was nice to look at that sitouation from someones elses perspective and I agree that Harry was wrong with doing what he did. I think he has realised that what he did was wrong and that he had better make it up too Snape. His future depends on it. I did not take any critism from your review. I enjoyed reading it, thank you.

I'm really enjoying this...especially after you had Dumbledore explain the part where they can't share secrets (would knowing how Malfoy's roommates act towards him count as a 'secret'?)before the explanation it didn't really make since that Dumbledore would risk it...please write more soon

Author's Response: Thanks Jadie, I don't think how other people act towards Malfoy would be considered s aecret. Just something surprising maybe. A secret in this case would be anything they did not want the other person to know, something that could get them in trouble or somthing that could be embaressing. Like if Malfoy had a teddy bear, lol. Thanks for reviewing!

Very nice chapter with lots of fun details. This is an interesting way for Harry to learn that all Slytherins are not alike and to show that he can take the heat. He accepts pranks well from Fred and George so it makes sense that he would handle this well. I'm actually a little worried that the Gryffindors will treat Draco worse than the Slytherins treated Harry.

Author's Response: The Gryffindors are going to be truly creative, lol. You will just have to wait and see what they do. Thanks for reviewing!

My web was down for three and a half days! *faints* I JUST got back on around an hour or so ago and now I can finally review your chapter:

So far Harry has done a pretty good job handling the Slytherins, he's kept his cool and so far nothing horrible has happened. I loved Harry's comment “I’ll have you know that these are authentic tattered garments,” Harry said with a proud air and a sniff that matched Malfoys from earlier. “They came all the way from the gutters of Venice.” That quote is awesome!

I think Harry handled the prank really well, and I think it was funny what he did. The school sure was surprised with his new look, lol. Hopefully, Harry will continue coping with this new situation. Of coarse, nothing is ever perfect and something bad is sure to happen *looks shifty-eyed*.

I'll be waiting for your next chapter! Can't wait to see how the rest of Harry's day goes and what will happen once Harry gets to return to Gryffindor Tower. Then the tables are turned and Harry can give as good as he gets!

Author's Response: I was sorry to hear about your internet being down. That really rots but I'm glad your back! I love it when readers quote the story, i was slightly worried about that comment so I'm very glad you liked it! Harry is growing up, I did not like it when he pitched fits, lol. Thanks for reviewing!
