Reviews For A Shocking Discovery
By the way, to others who peruse this, odd, the reviews for chapt.10 are here, but the chapter itself is missing both in the index list and in writing; it jumps from nr. 9 to nr. 11. To my relief, you can read it on ff.net ( It is spelled 'faux pas', not 'fax pas.') Reading eagerly on.
Author's Response: Ultimately it isn't that bad, but the changes in both Harry and Sev's lives is a massive thing to get used to, especially when they have been such bitter enemies for so long. Lesley~
(I hope it is not forbidden to review twice) Author's Response: It seems that it is OK to review more than once on the same chapter because you were able to do it. As to the speed of the updates--things will slow down, so enjoy it while you can. I have written up to chapter 16.
(TO ch. 7 comment: of course I know Nott is horribly angry with Harry; I guess I thought that everyone lapped immediately on the explanation Nott-killing-Harry and writers usually pretend something is clear and then voila everything is different. I mean Nott could be as angry at Draco as he was at Harry; I guess he is jelaous not to be rich enough and he could be angry that his father faithfully followed Voldemort for so long but stayed poor anyway and now was in prison. I think your talking about Nott being very intelligent and enigma made me think he would see through Voldemorts demagogy. Oh, don't mind me, it is just my wild brain on caffeine :) Sorry.) Lil sun Author's Response:
Yeah, I can see why you might think that Nott has other hang ups that make him just as angry as he is at Harry. But Nott has lived with the fact that the Malfoys are rich and his family is not (the Malfoy's were rich long before Lucius joined Voldemort's ranks) for a long time and though it rankles, it is not something he would kill over, even though Draco is far from his favourite person. Nott worships his father and therefore his incarceration at the hands of HArry Potter is more than he can stand. And he soesn't totally blame Voldemort for their poverty, because they were poor before. If his father believes in the Dark Lord's doctrine, Theodore does also. I do appreciate your take on things though. I think that is what fanfic is all about really. Everyone has their own ideas. Hope to hear from you again after next chapter. Lesley.
