I'm an idiot. And you're a fantastic writer. Didn't know I could review without registering, apologies for that. Love this story to bits, your characterization is excllent. Rock on.

    Author's Response:

You're not an idiot. Now that you do know, you've reviewed and that's brilliant.

Thanks for taking the effort and thanks for the kind words.

I hope to hear from you again

Very good chapter! I am really disappointed in Severus. But I think he is disappointed in himself too. I hope they find Harry soon.

    Author's Response:

I agree. Sev is quickly coming to the realisation that he has made a big booboo.

He is also coming to the realisation that the pest-who lives means more to him than he could have imagined, and very much against his inclination.

I also think he is coming to the realisation that being in nominal charge of a teenager is a lot harder than just being a teacher.

    Thanks for the review.

Godric's Hollow!? Wow that was the last place I thought he'd go. Great chapter and I'm eagerly awaiting more!

    Author's Response:

I'm glad the ending was a surprise to you.

A couple of people said that they had guessed right. I hope the whole running away scenario was a surprise because I think most people were waiting for some interaction between Harry and Ginny.

Hope to hear from you after chapter 19.

This is a good chapter. Snape finally has come to his senses and realizes what horrible things he has done to Harry, so now he has a reason to work to make a good relationship. Because I'm not as nice as Harry, I hope Harry really makes him work for it!

    Nice characterization of the Weasleys.

Also, you've got a good storyline going -- I can't wait to find out why Harry has gone to Godric's Hollow. I hpe you let us in on his feelings and thoughts after he came out of his catatonic state.

    Good job. Keep writing please!

    Linda

    Author's Response:

Well, Snape will never be a an easy character but the man does have brains, so it is easy for him to see his mistakes. And they were monumental. Don't worry, things won't become all lovey-dovey between the two combatants.

Glad you like the Weasleys. I love Arthur.

Godrics Hollow? Harry may not be catatonic now, but he is certainly not firing on all cylinders. This trip was not bloody-mindedness, it was instinct.

Thanks for your kind words. It really is a great incentive to hear compliments from my readers.

What an amazing story. Love Snape's seesawing emotions to being Harry's father, love Harry's reaction to finding out Snape is his other father and so on.

    Author's Response:

Thank you for your kind words.

So glad you're enjoying the ride.

Wow! Amazing! Very curious to see why he went to GH!

    Author's Response:

Thank you for your kind words.

In his very confused state after what he has just had revealed to him, Harry feels that he has to check for himself that the beginning of his life wasn't a lie; he has to see tangible evidence that JAmes and Lily Potter really were alive once.

Of course, he is not really thinking straight, is he? He is still in shock.

    Please keep reading and reviewing.

Well, this really the chapter I liked the most so far.
I especially like the interaction between Severus and Arthur and the way Severus is starting to understand things.
I hope to read more soon!

    Author's Response:

Thank you Tsuby for your review.

This was your favourite chapter hmmm. A couple of people have said that. I really enjoyed it myself.

Hopefully I will have more soon.

I have really enjoyed this story and especially this chapter. It's nice to see Prof. Snape using his formidable intelligence to acertain Harry's circumstances. This is another possible realistic view of how it could possibly unfold betweem Harry and Severus. Erm, sorry my review isn't more organized and is somewhat untidy.

    Author's Response:

    Thanks for your kind words.

Yes, Severus might be a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to Harry James Potter, but he is getting there.

And don't worry about trying to win a Pullitzer Prize with your reviews. I am happy to read them all, no matter the composition.
