Reviews For A Shocking Discovery
Author's Response: What a trul lovely review. Thank you so much.
I agree that Harry has every right to be a very angry young man. I hate it when people carry on about Harry being a BRAT in OOTP. These people have obviously never been around teenagers. And if they have been around teenagers, they have never been around one whose life has been such a tragedy from the age of fifteen months. I think Harry is a truly wonderful character and that he is an amazingly together young man considering what has been his life. Thank you once again. ~Lesley~
Author's Response: Yes, Sev isn't going to find HArry a pushover that's for sure. But then again, Harry does need someone he can call his own, and he is connected to Sev, and no amount of sulking and storming around is going to alter that. Thanks for the review. Lesley
Author's Response: I knew I could rely on you for another review. Thanks. Yes, HArry was moody, but don't forget the crap he has had thrown at him in the last little while. Sev was as nasty as hell, and he did stick him to a chair and stuck his tongue to the roof of his mouth...And threatened to stick his eyelids open. Not a very good way to win over a son's affection, or even acceptance. But HArry is always sorry later. Until next time. Lesley
Author's Response: As quick as I can. Thanks for expressing your satisfaction in such an emphatic way!!!!!!!! Lesley
Author's Response: Thank you very much for this review. And I look forward to hearing from you again. Glad that you are enjoying ASD so much. Lesley
Author's Response: Well Harry has certainly got a temper and a lot of stubborness buried in that small frame, but IMO, at this point in time, he is entitled to his anger. Se treated him terribly whilst imparting truly devastating news. But Harry is also very needy, and he is not, in the long run, going to 'cut off his nose to spite his face'. thank you for the review. Glad you enjoyed it. Lesley
I really enjoyed the little fun moments like Harry fooling around with Ginny and Ron. That was refreshing. And I enjoyed Harry's chat with Dumbledore. My that boy has a bit of a temper, doesn't he? Wonder where he got that from? :oP I'm glad Albus was able to talk with him though. At least he tried to get through to him. And I really really loved the talk at the end with Severus. I liked how he was trying already to care for Harry, like when he tried to get him to eat the scone. That was nice. And I was so pleasantly surprised that Severus made such an offer to Harry at the end there and he was so nice about it. And I enjoyed how Severus kept his temper and allowed Harry his questions. It was all simply lovely. I am really curious as to what Harry will have to say to that final declaration from Severus. Author's Response: Hi Tabitha, Glad you liked the chapter. Sev is being a good boy, isn't he? Wonder how long it can last, especially with all the provocation that HArry is dredging up. I certainly hope Harry accepts the olive branch and the offer of a father before he pushes Sev so far that he loses his temper. heehee. I knew you would like the HArry/Ginny moments. I think poor HArry definitely needs time out to be a teenage boy, all the way to playing around with his girlfriend. I have had a couple of people say they think Ginny is too forward. Yeah, Harry is a bit down on Dumbles at the moment, but of course, as soon as he sees Albus the next time, he will be remorseful. That's just HArry. I have a son like that. He yells and rants and raves and storms off, but then within an hour, he is back apologising. He cannot stand us being at loggerheads. He has even texted me to tell me he is sorry! so I know if Harry apologises to Albus, it is not beyond belief that he be remorseful Thanks for the review...you seem to prefer reading on P&S these days. Waiting impatiently to see what has happened to Remus. Lesley |
