Reviews For A Shocking Discovery
But good for reading though. Please keep it up. Author's Response: Thanks for another review. Yep, those two really do need to sit down and talk about emotions, I think. Glad you enjoyed it, but sorry if you're frustrated. Lesley
Also- I too prefer long chapters and long stories. All my favorite stories are novels and long ones. Also remember that for the 6-7 who review, you've entertained 100 or so that are crap at writing back - myself included. :) Looking forward to the next installment! Author's Response: Well, for someone who is crap at writing back, you managed to express yourself quite eloquently. I don't want a novel when I beg for reviews. An 'I enjoyed it' would be very nice. But I do know what you mean. I sometimes have trouble thinking of what to write for a review. Tnak you for this, BTW. And I am glad you like the longer chapters and stories. I seem incapable of cutting them back anyway. Lesley
Author's Response: Thank you for your comments. Glad you enjoyed it. Ron coming up next chapter. Lesley
Anyway, excellent chapter. And I love LONG chapters! Author's Response: Hi there. Good to hear from you. Glad you enjoyed it. Sev and Harry will have their ups and downs for a while. Neither is good at wearing his heart on his sleeve, and until they can communicate on that level, misunderstandings will abound. Lesley
Author's Response: Thank you for making this effort. I used to feel like you do until I started to write my own stories. But let me tell you, even a 'great story' is better than thinking your story is not being appreciated. Lesley
I wish I had time to do a complete review, but I'm sure you understand how hectic real life can be. I hope you can update as soon as RL permits. Donna Author's Response: This feels like deja vu, Donna. I just answered your last reviw for Muggle. I am glad you found ASD. It is my first baby and, I think my favourite. HArd to decide. Certainly, it gets many more readers than Muggle, here and at fanfic.net. And I know only too well how RL gets in the way and I appreciate the effort. Lesley
Thanks, and I can't wait to see what happens next! Author's Response: Good to see you back. Did you have a good time abroad. Nice to see you reviewing again and thanks for your opinion on the chapter lengths. Lesley
Author's Response: Thank you, Natalie. Your review is much appreciated. Lesley
Molly Weasley is going to have to do more than just apologize to Snape for her jumping to the wrong conclusion about his and Harry’s relationship. With Snape’s past history, I can see how he would conclude that his attempts at being “nice” will only be thrown back in his face and not bother to try. For Harry’s sake as well as his own, he needs to have people accept him as an ally and friend. Author's Response: Thank you. This might be your first review, but it is a lovely one, and much appreciated. Another vote for the long chapters. Glad you like the premise as to why Sev is HArry's father. I dislike stories that vilify JAmes and/or Lily...or where Sev rapes Lily and HArry's looks change so drastically, he is no longer Harry Potter. Yes, the battle will coninue as the two wizards do try to find a sense of family and acceptance. Sev knows how easily Harry has forgiven him, but somehow he is greateful for that, but also wary. That would mainly be due to guilt because he realises that his treatment in the past was actually unforgivable. And yes, Molly is going to have to keep on trying to win Sev over. And Sev does want acceptance, but he doesn't really do very much to inspire trust or even liking. They both need to pull their heads in a little. Sev cannot just rely on his bravery as a spy to make other Order members accept him, especially when he goes out of his way to be unpleasant. Maybe Harry's presence in his life will bring about a change. Lesley
Author's Response: Thank you very much for going to all the trouble that you do to read my story. And thank you for the review. It warms my heart to know that ASD is so inspiring that someone goes to the lenghts you do to read it. It is lovely to hear from you and at least, if I don't hear from you again, I will know that you are reading. That is the important thing. Lesley |
