Harry and Snape seem to be doomed to misread each other intentions. You did a great job describing their relationship, the ups and downs, how others interact with them etc.. Looking forward to more of the story

    Author's Response:

Thank you. Good to hear from you again.

The story is great and becomes only better, though it seems impossible to this point allready. Please, don't drop ASD and carry on the tradition to surprise us with every new chapter ;-) Though every fairy tale has it's 36-th chapter, but I would like ASD to go on forever! Ashaimed to admit - I was extremely grateful but lasy admirer. *Flushes fiercely* Thank you for this little treasure and please, please, please, update soon!

    Author's Response:

What a lovely review, thank you so much. Thank you for letting me know that you are reading and enjoying ASD so much. I have no plans to abandon the story, nor, at this stage to finish it.

I really like your story. The characters are believable and have enough emotional depth to be engaging.
I would like to state my opinion that I enjoy long stories and long chapters as I feel that the character and plot developments most often are more thought through and therefore more cohesive.
ASD is a wonderful story with lots of little details which make the story entertaining and thought provoking.

    Author's Response:

Thank you so much for the lovely review. Another vote for long chapters. Yay. I am very glad that you are enjoying ASD so much.

Hope to hear from you again.

I loved how you portrayed Molly in this chapter - jumping to conclusions, but due to her innate protectiveness. Very good.

    Author's Response:

Sorry for the delay in replying to you. Thank you for your review. Glad you liked the chapter so much.

I know what you mean about wanting more when reading a story you like. It's one thing when you get a nice long chapter like this one that ends in a semi-cliffy ending and another when you get about eight paragraphs and a huge cliffy. It annoys me so much.

I'm really enjoying the story so far ^^

    Author's Response:

Thank you so much. First reviewer for this chapter. I seem to be incapable of writing short chapters. This chapter is shorter than my usual, and I have decided to try and cut them down to between five and six thousand words, instead of eight to ten, and occasionally twelve. But I am glad you prefer a decent length chapter. And I am glad that you are enjoying the story.

The controversy at the party was well handled. You did a good job of showing everyone's feelings and points of view, and a good job of resolving it as naturally as it could have been, and to the degree it would have been. Well done.

    Author's Response:

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed both chapters.

That's AWESOME ! I really enjoyed reading your story, I think the best chapters are the ones with the hugs (sooo well written). I was a little disappointed by this last chapter, but maybe I have to read again to enjoy it fully. Anyway, I loved it so much that I saved it on my laptop and I couldn't stop reading until this sooo-annoying "to be continued". I'm wondering if someone already asks you for translating (in French as far as i'm concerned) because you really deserve it ! So, thanks a lot for giving me a such pleasant reading and pleaaaase, pleaaase, update quickly !
    :D
PS: sorry for my awful English...

    Author's Response:

Thank you guignou for your lovely review. Sorry you were disappointed in the last chapter though. Didn't like all of that confrontation, I suppose. As to your question...no, nobody has asked me if they can translate the story for me, in any language.

And your English is fine, better than some whose first language is English, in fact.

This is a wonderful story. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness in keeping the characters mainly canon. I must admit that of all of the characters in Harry Potter, the one I abhor the most is Ginny Weasley. I can't abide her. Of course, this isn't your fault, and I have learned to tolerate her in this story. I eagerly await the next chapter.

    Author's Response:

Thank you for your review. Sorry you don't like Ginny. I adore her and think she and HArry are fantastic together, though it took him a while to realise she was a girl, just like it did Ron with Hermione. It truly amazes me what Ginny ever did to inspire such hatred in people. Was it the little ten year old girl who had heard stories of the Boy Who Lived being a little star dtruck on platform 9 3/4? Or perhaps the stupid 11 year old girl who was tricked by the future Dark Lord into opening her heart. We hardly saw her in POA or GOF. She appears here and there in OOTP.

Perhaps that is why? She isn't in it much and suddenly, Harry fancies her. But he would have seen her around the school all the time, just not registered her as potential girlfriend material, for all the reasons he stresses over once he doess register she is a girl. Cho was only mentioned here and there also. Is it that she is a redhead and she is too similar to Harry's mother? That doesn't make sense either. 1: she has brown eyes and not the much vaunted green eyes that Lily had, and 2: if she was a brunette, would you be able to say that I wonder, as 80% of people would be true brunettes.

Anyway, this is an argument that gets me going, in case you haven't realised that. I hope you can look past Ginny to continue with the story, because she will continue to feature. Sorry.

Wonderful as always. You did a great job with the mixed emotions in this chapter, i could practically see the scene in my head as it played out. Your characterisation never fails to impress me, especially with severus, harry and dumbledore. I eagerly await your next chapter. x

    Author's Response:

Thank you for reviewing. Glad you are still enjoying the characters and the story.
