Ginny isn't supposed to be completely unsympathetic, and this is where she’s supposed to be a bit more appealing.   Poor girl, she shouldn't have spied, but it must have been awful knowing there was something up, something really up, and she was being kept completely out of it.

I liked writing Ron trying to be fair.  I hadn't written much Ron so far, which is sad, because I like him, so I was happy to get to write him here.

Well, neither Harry nor Ginny were particular paragons.  There are times they deserve each other.
