Reviews For No Difference
Oh. Wow. This was actually quite awesome. I had no idea i would enjoy it this much. I love this chapter, the epilogue. It was really well done. I wonder how snape acted at Harry and Ginny's wedding.......? Author's Response: Lol, I think you're my first reviewer to have read through my whole story at once the first time around. I'm glad thw whole is to your satisfaction. He sat in the back, folded his arms, scowled, and bit his tongue.
I like this. Interesting start. I'm lookign forward to reading this through. Author's Response: I'm glad you like it. I hope it lives up to the potential you see.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Writing it occasionally felt a bit like an epic undertaking.
Author's Response: I'm really quite flattered that you like it enough to reread it. If you're interested, I'm going to be posting the first chapter of another novel length fic on my Livejournal on the first of November. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the requirements of this site (being as it doesn't have Harry in it) so I can't post it here. Were you referring to the last two words of this chapter, or to the story as a whole?
I guess there is no chance Harry and Severus started a revolution? Pity. Mila Author's Response: I'm a political science major. I can't help myself. No revolutions, no, but they do produce enough discontent with the system that it loosened up and had elections because it feared revolution.
Author's Response: I stated earlier in the story that the glamour can't be replaced because of the type of glamour, so he still looks like a Potter. Poor bastard.
Author's Response: I do address Belby briefly in the short story "Literary Minds" that I'm writing in the same universe. I contemplated having Harry manipulate the Wizengamot into accepting Snape instead, but I rather thought that even if Harry had, Snape would have refused. He deserves his rest. Harry is outspoken in his later days against the Wizengamot, if it's any comfort. Snape is never someone to make things easy on himself. On the other hand, I don't think this leaves him more tortured than he was before, just differently tortured, if that makes any sense. He isn't well suited to contentment. Even if he had gotten over lily, he probably wouldn't enjoy sharing his life with someone else. He likes his solitude. I'm glad you liked my characterization of Harry. In canon, he goes through so much at such a young age that toughens him and grows him up before his time. I tried to bring that maturity, but also his youth and temper to him in this fic. It's been a lot of fun to write, but I do get a lot of pleasure from finishing.
Author's Response: Some of that will be resolved in the short story that I'm writing to accompany this (Belby for one, Malfoy for another), but I intended it to be somewhat open ended.
Author's Response: thank you! It's been a lot of fun to write, and a lot of fun to hear what people think about it.
Author's Response: Thank you, and um... you're welcome too. |
