I almost thought you had abandoned - thanks for continuing the story & what have you done to the Grangers?!

Author's Response: Thank you for reading and reviewing.  No, I'm not abandoning SC, just not updating as frequently, mostly because my real life has turned unbelievably hectic.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yeah, I realized that it had been posted twice, but thankfully either Pandora or OE took care of it (Thanks, Pandora and/or OE).

Oh, NO! A CLIFFIE! Well, I loved the chapter anyway-- so glad Harry got out and about, and especially that people were treating him decently. Just out of curiosity, could Harry's Portkey bracelet ever "wear out"? Like if he's been larking about one time too many, and suddenly NEEDS to escape a dangerous situation, and the Portkey runs out of "GO" power at a critical moment... (I was really surprised to see the bracelet being used for casual multi-person transportation, is why I'm asking.)

Author's Response: Thank you!  Well, yeah, I did say that I've taken some liberties with the portkey.  I think in canon they can only be used once, and Harry's can be used over and over.  No, I don't think it would 'wear out'.  I really have no idea how they work, but for my purposes, they can be used more than once, though they would need to be activated each time.

Dang it all! You just had to leave it there, didn't you? You'd better post soon... or else! *grin* Great chapter. Greater cliffhanger. Can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Well, we authors have to do something to keep readers coming back, now don't we?

Oh my God. My heart is in my throat.

What the heck happened at Hermione's house? Oh poor Hermione. I hope that her parent's are alright.

That was wonderful Kristeh. I especially loved the Quidditch game, and how you described the excitement of the match so well. And I think that you did a wonderful job describing Boscastle (I've never been there either) and the museum.

Great job as usual. Oh, and I loved the Christmas presents too.

Wow! Chapter 74 already. I want this story to go on forever! LOL!

At least update quickly please, after that cliffie!!! (Young lady!)

Wonderful chapter Kristeh, and I simply can't wait for the next one.

    Author's Response:

Hey, thanks, Pandora!  What happened at Hermione's house?  Well, nothing good, that's for sure!  Are her parents all right?  I'll be evil and say that you'll just have to keep reading to find out...*evil chortle*

Glad you liked the Quidditch game.  As you know, I always struggle with the action scenes so I really appreciate the reassurances.  It was fun writing about Boscastle (it sounds like a fascinating place).  I hope I didn't botch it up.

Well, I'll keep writing as long as I can think of ideas and people want me to, lol.

I'm looking forward to more from you...hint, hint!
