Reviews For Slave Child
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'll try!
Can't wait to see Snape's reaction to Dumbledore's news. I imagine he might be speechless at first. Take care and update soon. I'm loving the story! Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, if anyone can keep Severus in line, it's Norie and Zan. They've known him since he was a child after all, and they're all really very fond of one another, so they're not the least bit intimidated. I think it will take more than Norie to get Sev to warm up to Harry, but he'll get there. The pieces are falling into place, Severus can just be a little stubborn when it comes to admitting he was wrong about something.
POOR HARRY! POOR SEV! (in funny anouncer voice:) What will our heroes do next?! Lol. Lovely fic, I can't wait to see where it goes. I wonder how Harry will take it? And how Sev will take it! (anouncer voice again:) Is there no way out!?!! (evil Gollum voice:) But, of course, my pr*hack*ecioussssssss, why would we want that? We wants angst, my pr*hack*ecioussssssssss we dos! lol. Can't wait to see what happens, and I can't wait to see where darling Draco fits into all this. Please update soon!!!! -Elise Author's Response: Thank you! You're hilarious! I don't think I can even begin to reply in 'Gollum' language, so I'll just say that there is plenty of angst and mush coming up. Draco won't be in the first part of the story very much, but he'll eventually play a part. I've got to update my other story next, but then I'll get back to 'Slave Child'.
Please write more, I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take this! Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, more details about the conditions of the slavery spell will be in the next chapter, and it is based on the victim being enslaved to the first person who touches him/her after the spell is cast. Severus and Harry will both have a hard time adjusting at first, but ultimately Severus will be thankful to have Harry in his life. It'll take Harry a while longer...this is really going to have a profound effect on him.
Severus' house elves...what a hoot! "Settle down and get married" BAHAHAHA! And Norie getting in the last word...I like that elf. I sort of expected what the ending of the chapter would be from Albus' remark earlier, but it packed a wallop nonetheless. Great job! Looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: Thank you! I was hoping to make Sev a more well-rounded character and give a bit of information about his past, so I'm glad you liked it. Yes, I like Albus and Severus having a close friendship, too. I wasn't sure about Norie and Zan at first, but I hope they can add something to the story, and maybe be there for Harry at first, too. I need to work on "Potions Professor" next, but I'll get back to this one afterwards!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I hope you'll keep on enjoying it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm very eager to get to the parts with Harry and Severus together, too. In fact, I've probably bored my betas to tears discussing an upcoming scene with those two that I just can't wait to write, but I do think the groundwork needs to be done to make it really effective, so I'm trying to be patient, too. If it's any consolation, I have a mushy, angsty scene with Harry and Sev coming up in the next 'Potions Professor' chapter. I like Norie and Zan, too, and hope they will add to the story, and I admit I do like to get Severus out of spying asap, because I don't like him having to hide any kind of relationship with Harry.
