So many problems and complications coming from one little spell. Do they really know all it does or are they playing it by ear? It's good to see Snape softening up but one wonders what he would think of Harry's thoughts. Wouldn't that be a lovely complication...that if he truly wished to know his slaves thought he could hear them without legilimency.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, the spell has really wreaked havoc on things, especially for Harry and Severus. There may be some things about the spell they haven't discovered yet, but I don't plan to have the spell punish Harry for anything cause I think he's been through enough already. Thanks again!
Wow, another chapter! I liked the interaction between Snape and Harry after Harry's nightmare. That seemed very natural, that Snape would want to comfort Harry. You made it clear that he is actually starting to understand Harry's despair at being a slave.
Harry is still not willing to trust, but that is very natural.
Good chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! Severus did begin to understand a little bit of what Harry is going through, and that empathy will help later on. Harry doesn't trust Sev yet, but maybe the armor inside is beginning to crack just a tiny bit.
