Wow!! My heart was racing the entire time. You did such an amazing job with this chapter. It was quick, lightening speed, yet also very clear and easy to follow. I know you say that it is difficult for you to write action sequences; but, if you had not said so in the writer's notes, I would never in a million guess that. Fantastic chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm glad you liked it.  I do remember that chapter being very difficult to write.

Just wanted to say that I am still really enjoying this and have to laugh every time I remember I'm not even halfway through yet! ;-)

Also, I thought you did alright with the action and stuff. I am also weak in that area. I really hate writing action and fighting scenes. So kudos to you! :D

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yes, I like the emotional scenes much better.

I absolutely loved how you killed off old Vodie in this chapter. He didn't deserve a more theatrical ending. It was perfectly fitting. Your details throughout the chapter, such as the shop keepers and where they were and what they were doing, were wonderful additions to the chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks, Kim!  This chapter was fun to write, I'm really glad you liked it.

Ooh! Your cliffes are so terrible! Especially when I've restricted myself to one chapter a night (yes, I know, pity me) to get my work done.
Anyway, I thought it was really good, I could see the scene really well - the barrels, the cobbles, the panic...
I'm trying to remember if Snape had to give up being a spy after taking Harry in...
So, does Harry no longer feel like suicide? Did he defeat Voldy by loveing Snape protectively enough? Or something along those lines? I'll find out tomorrow. (:
Oh, and I thought the killing of Voldemort was well done, similar to the book (as was George's ear btw - well done on that) I thought for an instant it would be the gold stream again, but something must have changed.

yay volde is dead! i think the action scene was fine it got all the important things in without too much waffle which is how i think one should be, im really looking forward to the next chapter though, i also love a juicy bit of angst! just a question though, did i miss something in a previous chapter that said harry would be released from the slavery spell if voldemort died? or is that comment he made about being free yet to be explained? i hope you decide to keep him with snape i cant wait to see how their relationship develops, bring on the angst!! lol

    Author's Response:

Oh, thank you!  No, Harry won't be freed from the slavery spell just because of Voldemort's death.  His thoughts about being free are referring to his decision to kill himself once he'd defeated Voldemort.  Harry sees his death as a means of freedom right now.

This was a great chapter. I can't wait to find out how exactly Harry killed Voldemort, and the way he ran off to help his friends is very in character XD

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'll explain more about how Harry killed Voldie in chapter 21, but it's really not a big secret or anything original.  You can figure it out on your own probably.  I did think Harry would find it hard to hide in safety when others are in danger, too.  Thanks again!

You really have mastered the evil cliffhanger, haven't you? Hee hee. (Well, I'm not laughing really. I'm quaking in my boots over what just happened to Harry...)

I have the same question as another reviewer, which will wait to be resolved in maybe the next chapter? If Harry *does* die (even momentarily because I can't imagine you killing him off) how does this affect the slave bond?

Poor Severus. He's so attached to Harry now I imagine he'll be going into a full fledge panic attack soon if Harry's looking like he's at death's door.

Gee, think you can pump out another chapter as fast as you did this one? My fingernails may not survive it if you don't!

    Author's Response:

    Thanks, Cathy!

    >>>You really have mastered the evil cliffhanger, haven't you?

I suppose so...that's what people keep telling me!  I just stop when I think it's at a point that will keep people wanting more...can I help it if people call me evil, lol?

The question about Harry dying and the effects on the slave bond is very interesting...and that's all I'm going to say about that!

Yes, Severus is going to be all angsty, dealing with Harry's injuries and feeling regrets over his own actions...poor guy.  I'll try to get the next chapter up soon.  Thanks again!
