Reviews For Slave Child
I also wonder how this interview will go. I can't imagine it going smoothly
Lovely. Sigh. I love them both. Awwwwwwwwww.......... Author's Response: Oh, thank you! These chapters are still my favorite part of the story...I'm glad you've l;iked them too.
Author's Response: Thank you! Hopefully it'll be up next weekend.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I do plan to keep on.
Author's Response: Thank you! I love Harry and Severus being close, too!
Now, if you KILL Draco off before he can blab, then I could believe there's no chance that word will spread. Aspen Author's Response: Hi, Aspen! I'm glad you were able to sign in and glad that you're enjoying SC! As I said, I really feel honoured that you do because the AYLNO saga is just such a landmark fic and I love it so much. Okay, this may be a little farfetched or there may be loopholes I haven't thought of, but this is what I'm thinking as far as Draco knowing the slavery spell. He does know the actual words he spoke, but since the spell was written in an archaic form of Latin, he doesn't know what it did. Yes, he could try to find some texts on old languages and translate it on his own, as DD did, but for one thing, he really hasn't gotten that curious about it yet. Dumbledore implied that Harry was perfectly fine, that he'd made a full recovery, and the whole reason Dumbledore did that was to attempt to allay Draco's suspicions. Draco said that the other spells he'd used from that book were relatively harmless, or rather, that they could be easily reversed, so he doesn't really suspect that there have been any lasting or permanent consequences for Harry. He thinks that Dumbledore was angry just on principle, because it is illegal, immoral, and potentially dangerous to cast an unknown spell. For another thing, Draco has had some other things going on this summer that have kept him occupied and have had an effect on him. So...no, it's not impossible that anyone else could ever find out about the spell, but Severus just meant that he didn't believe that Harry's making a statement to the public would lead to its discovery. Lol, no I'm not planning to kill Draco off...that would ruin all the fun, wouldn't it? Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm excited about the upcoming school year, too, but there are a few other little things that will happen first. Hogwarts will probably start in chapter 29 or 30, though maybe I shouldn't say that, cause when I do, events always seem to take longer to write about than I'd planned.
Author's Response: Thank you!
I guess that Harry is going to have to if not forgive Malfoy, but let go of his anger, for his own piece of mind. Didn't need the tissues this time around; I've got the warm fuzzies after reading this chapter! ;) Author's Response: Thank you! >>>I can't wait to see the sparks fly when Harry returns to Hogwarts and has to come face to face with Malfoy. Should be interesting, shouldn't it? Heh, I have a feeling Draco is in for some surprises this year. And yes, Harry will need to learn to let go of his anger. I'm glad you didn't need tissues this time, lol!
