Alright! Dumbledore kicked some Skeeter butt! I'm afraid she's hard to squish, though. I'm also wondering now, of course, if Tom changed his mind on the superiority of a three-part soul and decided to go for a seven-part one. I guess we'll find out as we go along. Very nice chapter with lots of love. ;-)
Author's Response: Thank you! Well, Dumbledore tried to put her in her place, but unfortunately she's is hard to squish, lol. We'll see more of her later (or at least hear of her). Right now I'm not planning on more horcruxes, but I'm leaving that option available, just in case...Thanks again!

i find myself wondering if there are REALLY more horcruxes like in canon, and Dumbledore just doesn't know about them in this AU?
Author's Response: Thank you! I can tell you that right now I don't think I'm planning on extra horcruxes, but I haven't completely ruled out the possibility...it's always good to leave your options open in case inspiration strikes at a later point, lol!

Fun chapter. I enjoyed Harry being surrounded by the press. I always love to see the aftermath of Voldemort's defeat. It was well done, and it was very nice to see Harry realizes just what it means to have a parent. Great job. :o)
Author's Response: Thanks, Tabitha! I'm glad you liked it cause I really didn't enjoy writing the press conference...I'd much rather just write Sev and Harry, or maybe Harry and his friends, but I did think the press conference was important to the story and I'm trying to show all the events, big and small, of Harry's life now, so I knew I needed to include it. Thanks again!
great speech harry, i hope the reporters leave harry alone but i doubt skeeter will, she needs to be stamped on
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so happy you liked Harry's speech...it was one of the hardest things to write so far in this story. I think you may be right about Rita Skeeter, too...she keeps turning up like a bad penny.
Hi. I thought the way you did Hermione and Ron a few chapters ago was really refreshing and well written. It's so nice not to have Ron totally one-sided and obnoxious for once! Also, I think the little gifts are quite fun. And Madam Bones was a fantastic choice for the new PM, although I imagine her slightly differently. I'd have chosen her over JKR's choice for successor any day.

I know Ron can be a bit of a prat at times, but I do think he really cares for Harry and that if he could see that Severus had changed his attitude towards Harry and was good for him, that he (Ron) would try to accept that because it's best for his friend. I'm happy you like the little gifts...that was one of the ideas that I had from the very beginning of the story and I enjoy thinking up fun little things that Severus could give to Harry. I really liked Amelia Bones, too, from the little we saw of her in canon and I thought she would have made a fantastic Minister of Magic, if Jo Rowling hadn't decided to kill her off instead. At first I was going to go with Scrimgeour, but then I wanted to be a little bit different so I decided I'd let Madam Bones live in SC. It was hard to like Scrimgeour, but considering how he died, I think he did redeem himself. Thanks again!
