Things are moving a bit fast, but that is fine with me. Thsi story is brilliant. Even after getting as many reviews as 1000, you still like them, I suppose, me too, I love them, you know the quote, what comes around, goes around. So, I am hoping I will get some reviews on ff.net too. Whatever,I thought Severus knew about the cupboard, I never knew that Harry's favourite colours were red and gold, though mine is blue. That adoption, I thought that the slavery spell would be broken by the adoption as a son can't be your slave.

Author's Response: Thank you for all the lovely reviews!  And yep, they're always nice to receive!  The slavery spell is resolved by the end of the story.

I'm looking forward to seeing how things go for Severus and Harry now that they are back at Hogwarts. I adore how protective Severus is towards Harry.

I thought the scene where Harry made his wishes was really moving. This story really is great but I hope that the spell is lifted soon and that Snape then has a misunderstanding about Harry still wanting to be his adopted son.

Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm very happy you gave "Slave Child" a try and are enjoying it!

""Well, you had to have a place to sleep. Or did you think I would simply stick you in my potions cabinet at night?" Severus said lightly." This was a good way for Severus to begin learning a little about what Harry's life was like before. I sometimes forget that in your world, Severus comes to change his mind about Harry without really knowing all about his treatment at the hands of the Dursleys.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yes, Severus does know that Harry was mistreated, but he doesn't know all the details yet.  That's going to change though.  Now that Harry trusts him, he is beginning to open up.  Thanks again!
