Reviews For Slave Child
Oh god! No! No! No!
Author's Response: Thank you! I don't like making people cry, but I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
Author's Response: Thank you! You'll find out in ch. 47.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm going to work on the next chapter during this week.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, poor Harry; he does need a break. Well, Severus doesn't realize what's going on yet, but no doubt he will be quite ferociously protective of Harry when he does. I guess I expressed myself wrong in my view that Harry deserved his harsh punishment and that Severus shouldn't revoke it. What I meant was that I hope that Severus doesn't feel too guilty and let Harry off scot free. I think that Severus' original punishment was quite harsh in that he should have given Harry a time frame that he was grounded for. Saying indefinitely, gives Harry nothing to look forward to, and is a little harsh. While Severus saying that he didn't trust Harry any more was harsh, I do think that it was a very normal reaction, and Harry should really have expected that after he wilfully disobeyed Snape. Regardless of his reasons, Harry is old enough to know better, and I think that it is perfectly natural that Snape's reaction would be to confiscate items that require Harry to be trustworthy and responsible in having possession of. As far as taking his broom away, well that also was something I rather, and Harry should have thought of as well. I think that most parents would have punished their child in taking their broom away and forbidding them from playing Quidditch for a specific time period. Again though, Severus didn't give any time frame, which is the part I found harsh. If Severus had of said that You are not allowed to fly or have your broom, for lets say two weeks, that would have been perfectly reasonable. Harry didn't trust Severus enough either to come to him and explain what he was feeling, and so even though Severus is an adult, it probably hurt him and he retaliated with the statement that he lost trust in Harry. Anyway, that said, I am pleased that Severus still held Harry accountable, but gave a more reasonable time frame for his punishment. It was perfect Kristeh, and I will always love the way you handle these wonderful moments of Harry and Severus struggling to be father and son. Author's Response: Thanks, Pandora! You brought up some good points and I agree with you.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm happy you liked it!
Author's Response: You said it! I'll try to write ch. 47 this week, okay? Thanks so much! |
