Reviews For Slave Child
I literally had tears in my eyes, and I was at work! The way you write is truly beautiful, and evokes such powerful emotions. I don't know how anyone can not feel some sympahy for Draco after reading this chapter. Draco's story was heart breaking and gut wrenching. No child of sixteen should ever have to witness their mother being tortured and then murdered in front of their eyes. And then to have to deal with the aftermath alone, because he has no one to turn to. I'm afraid I'm going to have to do a Molly Weasley here and give the poor boy a hug. Well, you have also captured Harry's wonderful capacity for forgiveness, compassion and love to a tee Kristeh. You did JK proud. I really hope that Draco will take advantage of the second chance that he's been given and make amends with Harry. I hope that Severus can find it in his heart too to give some attention to Draco too. Surely there is enough room in his heart to give TWO boys the attention and care they need. Of course, Harry will always be his first priority, but he IS Draco's godfather, so hopefully he can be the mentor that Draco needs. I really hope that Severus can follow Harry's lead in this and not be too bitter about it. Author's Response: Oh, Pandora, I'm going to echo you...what can I say? You are too kind, but I'm happy that you enjoyed the chapter! >>>you have also captured Harry's wonderful capacity for forgiveness, compassion, and love to a tee I hope so. I do love Harry and think that he is an extraordinary person. Severus is very upset and angry with Draco, with good reason, and Harry will always come first in his heart. That's all I can say for now. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! |
